The reason that Sony cannot keep up with PS5 production is the same reason why GPUs are in short supply. The chips in the PS5 are made in the same factory as the chips in Nvidia and Radeon GPUs. TSMC is the ONLY company in the world producing these chips, and with a record drought in Taiwan causing water rationing (thus reducing production) coupled with the geo-political tensions Taiwan is having with China, and the horrible logistical crunch happening worldwide you get shortages in consoles that match or exceed the ones for graphics cards.

No one stole a truck full of GFX cards. Do you know how fuking ret-arded you'd have to be to start selling them? They have the SN of every card that is on that truck the sec you sell one they got their man. They prob lie about this so they can up the price and keep scamming dumbasses that will drop $1k+ for 10 more fps or have the shit card die on you in 2 days because they don't care about making something that will work.

They have plenty of ps5. There isn't a supply crisis. There is a bot and reseller problem. Resellers have hundreds of ps5. Stop blaming supply. There are tons of PS5s. They just won't take the sales off line so people can just bot buy. Have people stand in line and they won't be buying 100 ps5s.
I for one bought an Xbox and no longer will be a playstation buyer for the first time in my life.

0:16 this is something that happens regularly in Mexico, and the method is actually pretty anticlimactic, it's really just wait on a desolate road at night, do a roadblock and just highjack the truck at gun point, other times is just keep the truck driver at gun point and just take the whole load in multiple cars.

Likely it was just an armed robbery and they just stole the truck, took it somewhere, emptied it and scrapped or dumped the truck.
But it would be better if it was a gang of street racers using customised cars to do a fast and furious style heist.

What's all this crap about people not being able to get PS5s? A buddy of mine just got one for free from his uncle like a week ago and we live in the middle of rural Illinois nowhere near any big box stores.

wait if PS5 have shortage of chips and that stuff.... why almost everyone can purchase the Series S and barely series X? doesn't make sense.... since almost both companies uses the same components with little variations

Storyline. The choosen 1 must defeat robots from the future... while riding in a magic schoolbus...
They need very pure water to make chips. And we are out of water. The rat army will be ready in 2050...

I work in the silicone industry and I'll tell you a part of the supply demand shortage is silicone. I'm stuck using dirty Korean rubber instead of our norm.

It-s sad how bad 2042 is. I-ve had some technical issues with it, but it just feels like a shell of a game kinda like Battlefront at launch.
