10 video game fates worse than dying
video description
In Baroque, you are given a one shot weapon you have to save for the final encounter in a few of the endings. Not sure if that counts.
In Eternal Darkness there's a powerful endgame weapon that is missable if you fail to get the keys hidden in a few levels that span decades apart in the story.

Similar to getting your character stuck in the game world, the worst is when there is a game-breaking quest bug that prevents you from progressing in the story, like NPCs or dialogue options that fail to appear. Worse still, when you encounter said game-breaking bugs and you don t have saves old enough to try something else to see if you can get it to work and have to start the entire game over again. I remember this happening one or two HUNDRED times with some Bethesda games

Funny how they should Max Payne during the looping death section with quicksaves.
Back when me and my uncle were kids, there's a section where you need to escape a burning exploding building. We autosaved next to a pipe that just repeatedly killed us when we loaded in. It was a fraction of a second to get away.
Our save was lost and neither of us wanted to replay the whole game since we never made a back-up save.

When going for the platinum in Metro Exodus, there is a trophy called Forest Child when you're in an area that you cant be seen or attack anyone throughout the whole area. Sounds ok to do but my God, it was brutal, the area is filled with enemies, obstacles ( even a rowing boat section )if you made it to the end and got seen at the last moment, you gotta start again.
With that said, Metro Exodus is such a great game.

The
frog is just a basic status effect in role playing games. nothing to do with FF. it was one of the basic status effects in the original D&D, along with sheep.
and most of your complaints here are just linked to game difficulty, and mistakes that can be easily avoidable. on this video, strongly disagree with you.
stiil + 1 because I like your videos most of the time, and the quality is always good.

0: 15 In Prototype 2 there's upgrades that you get consuming marked targets on the maps, they appear after you complete some missions and are enemies with yellow icons above their head. The problem is. If they are killed (for you or other enemies) they're gone. They don't reappear. You need to quickly reload the save, and if you don't do that it's gone. You need to start a NG+ to try again.

The stress of trying not to say the wrong thing in the wicher 3 to get the good ending!
Getting camped by a rogue/druid in wow at the res site!
Becoming undead in dark souls and you don't have any humanity so you just get stomped forever!
Losing a friend in far cry 2! And trying to save thier life then end up killing them from a overdose.

Dishonored gave me the bad ending because in the tutorial I killed all the guards but for the rest of the 40 hour adventure I played fully in stealth. But because I beat the tutorial in high-chaos a beloved character tells you at the end that you don't deserve to live or continue the game. I hate that so much. Some people like it, I hate it!

The most annoying thing in any video game ever is your almost about to complete and ultra-hard level or a super hard boss and then you end up falling into an endless void glitch under the floor and having to go to the last checkpoint I've actually lost count of how many times I flip my f s from this crap happening
