That's why I loved the hell out of Cat Quest 1 & 2; those games were full of cat and dog related puns.
And I'm looking forward to playing Lost Ember too since you can possess different animals which lets you do different things in the world.
If Stray turns out to be just jumping and puzzle solving, I'll be fine with it, because I'm in for the game for 3 reasons; the cat, the world and the story.
I want the gameplay to be good, but for me it doesn't have to be super complex.

I have a lot to say about my hope for this game. I work, I have kids. Video games are either a family thing or a just me time deal. Not many if any games right now REALLY scratch all my itches. (Woah a pun) but seriously, I would love a game like this. I fell IN LOVE with Inside, and little nightmares. More the themes. The world. The feeling and vibes but stellar gameplay that just made the feeling and vibes THAT much better. I see this like that style of little game but with (hopefully) alot of heart and depth. I ve played so many great amazing games that I hardly remember or that really stick with me. Games like little nightmares and inside and limbo STUCK. I ve got my hopes high for stray. Especially because I know I m gonna be crying as a dad making dinner while my little girls play this. They re 12 so, drama and fear and chase scenes are perfect. Just to foster that love of gaming like my dad did to me when I was there age.

I don't understand why you gotta apologise if you think this will not be a hardcore game something like elden ring. Why don't we accept the fact that there is space for linear experiences in video games and those games are doing great. We don't always need games where you actually got to dedicate yourself completely to finish it. Video games are a great medium for storytelling and they can be fun without the expected grind.

Recently I played Maneater for the first time, and while it wasn't the most developed game it was fun not to be a biped protagonist, Id love to see more games that are willing to be more brave with their concepts, a different narrative or experience to the average FPS, survival, or open world RPG's that tend to play it safe in terms of story or setting.

I ve been hyped since it was announced.
It looks interesting, different, and fun.
The mystery of what this city is and where the humans went and why this stray cat is there have me chomping at the bit.
Plus, it s a cute kitty.
Reminds me of another game, Peace Island, that I m not sure is ever coming out lol

It s different and you play as a cat, so I m interested. I m fine with it being more laid-back as long as the story is meaningful, and the traversal and interactions/puzzles/whatever are engaging. The latter seems to be there in the previews I ve seen, so things are looking promising.

It's a real shame that we even have to consider the fact that a game May flop or overhype and not live up to expectation. The only way that this game would fail, is if they overhype, and under deliver. But honestly, I don't really care for this game, I just want ark 2 and GTA

I'm super excited for this. I have 3 cats which are all missing their right eyes. Yep, a total of 3 cats and a total of 3 eyes combined. Those little devils watch me play games all the time. Now it's time to show them a super hero they can relate to.
