You have to understand, these corporations do not say these things because they are detached from reality or because they think people will agree with them.
They say it because it is what they want you to believe. It does not matter how bad they sound or how much you mock them.
They will keep saying it until you too, are repeating.
It is not just in the entertainment industry that you see these tactics used, it's everywhere. And you would be surprised how often it works.
Especially with young kids who are exposed to things for the first time and tend to absorb and internalize them. Corporations play the long game, they are making a generation that will eat up whatever they make.

It s hard to attach personal sentiment to a multiplayer-only game. I found this with Warzone, GT Sport and BF 2042. Without having to battle through the single player campaign at the beginning, there s a little bit of emotional investment missing from the multiplayer part. People need stories, and stories help us attach meaning to emotions and those emotions to characters and the narrative of the game. Without it, it all falls flat for me. It s easy in, easy out. And easy to forget.

Simpsons Hit and Run will forever be one of my all time favorite games. Not even just childhood games but just all time favorite games in general! A few others are Gun, Darkwatch, Shadowrun, the darkness, Cod MW (original nog the recent one even though the recent one is still awesome, Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, Legend of Zelda the windwaker, to name just a few. Top three out of those would have to be Gun, Darkwatch, and Hit and Run for sure, hands down.

Mocking someone who likes single player games is like mocking someone who likes reading books or who likes watching movies or even just viewing art in general. Single player games is an art form with a story to tell, only that the player has a say in how it ends. It's no wonder why people want game adaptations of movies. Of course, it's also not surprising to see EA talking trash about art, the greedy, talentless hacks that they are.

I love single player games and usually prefer single player games. I don't have much interests in multiplayer games due to latency also even though I play multiplayer sometimes but single player games are where I am comfortable. EA should look at the gaming community before mocking gamers.

Just because someone at EA was a dumbass doesnt mean you have to be. Grow up it was a bad joke. Gameranx please dont jump on the mass media train like IGN. Think about your headlines. And stop encouraging toxicity in the comments. This community already has enough of that.

Not defending EA, but i think it was a poorly worded tweet, perhaps what they try to say is, They're a 10, but only play single player games - thus i can't play together with them
But ofcourse they had the controversial statement last time and people jumped on it.

Won't take long for Disney to destroy the guys life who is sorta remaking hit and run

EA did ufc and fight night but nothing like normal fighting games we are used to.
Also EA s most recent commercial success in regards to units being sold have been single player games (fallen order being the most significant)
