8 dead games that are now back
video description
Usually I'm very sceptical but Capcom has been on a roll for the past few years now and the RE engine has become a very robust game-engine during this.
DD1 was great. There were a few things that nicked its score a bit but if they just build on what's already solid the game will seriously be an amazing all-rounder.

From what I seen in this video you guys are WAY WAY WAY to quick to call something a dead game sents from what I know and have seen it takes from a year or two for the simplest games to 20+ years for the biggest best most bug free version of the game and that is going from nothing but a name or a concept in a person's mind to fully released game take the Elder scrolls games for example ES5 has been out for almost 11 years as of this post I have not heard of an official when they started developing ES6 but I am sure that someone with the developing group was thinking of it before the release date of ES5 and from what I have heard no official release date yet for ES6 untell after Stanfield and Redfall are released and that has been pushed back to the first half of 2023 from what I have seen people think any where between late 2024 to 2030 and I have heard form past E3s that Bethesda tends to take about 10 years between releases and add on top of that the pandemic as well as other unknown factors most if not all the games listed on this video as dead where announced between 2015 and 2018 but has not released yet well ES6, Stanfield and many others have been too but we know they are not dead so you people need to rethink your criteria for what is and isn't a dead game I will give you DNF looked like a dead game but if the Devs are still working on it and unless a dev says it is a dead game then it is NOTand NOWHERE NEAR a dead game PEREAD

I believe the term you're looking for is 'Dormant', Jake.
8 _Dormant_ Games That _Have Resurfaced_ _(or alternatively, 8 Games In-Development That Have Resurfaced )_, would be a more accurate title _(as dead could also refer to player population, with the title implying the game is populated again)_.
Speaking of dormant games, any update on Metroid Prime 4? Its devs have been radio silent too. _(I hope/wonder if they will re-release MP 1-3 in a bundle, alongside the release of MP 4; would be perfect for those looking to catch up, especially with the massive gap between 3 & 4, and the discontinuation of the production of the first three, as of their last statement on them)_
Btw! When are we getting a tour of your new office? You said you guys would do one, after you guys had settled in; still waiting on that.

My point proven on the last 1 number 1 a remake of a game from 1994 that was that was NOT even though of being made untell less then 10 years ago with the pandemic delay and yes it was on hold for a couple years but on hold dose NOT equal Dead if that was the case then a lot of games we know would be classified as dead but back and they never where they where just in either continuing development with little info being released to the public because they are focused on making the game or on a slight hold while companies merge or taken over in some sort of tranision but form what I seen in your video ANY delay AT ALL equals Dead game

Games in the video have nothing on Adventures of captain Blood that was suppose to be released in 2010 but got quietly cancelled instead. About a year ago it was leaked online and to everyone's surprise the game was basically finished. Turns out some higher ups couldn't agree on publishing rights and decided to bury the game instead.

how is bayonetta series dead? just because it did not release on a yearly basis like FIFA?
A dead series should be long forgotten and no one is even working on it. Bayonetta 3 is being worked on since the mid 2010s, it's far from dead, it just had a very long development cycle.
the same goes to hollow knight.

Calisto protocol looks awesome but doesn't belong in this list im afraid, a brand new IP announced 2 years ago doesn't count as dropping off the radar lol. Bethesda announced elderscrolls 6 like a million years ago, and might as well pen in fallout 5 for a similar upcoming video in 2030 lmao

I am going to have to play the Dragon Age franchise again and get myself through DAI so I am ready for Dreadwolf when it is released. Very much looking forward to the new Mass Effect game currently in development, also.

God, Routine is what's the game called. For nearly a decade ago I was wondering what was that game where it was at somelike a train station with a scanner gun, thanks for finally tied up one of my suppressed memories

so the first thing i thought of when i saw that Witchfire gameplay was Darkwatch. seems to be the same aesthetic/style and the same gameplay. heck even the story and monsters look the same.
