10 most badass moments in video games

Destiny getting the Gjallarhorn in that one mission and going to town on the enemies. I never got the legendary rocket launcher till then. Owned the game since day one, but a family emergency prevented me from getting it from Xur. All my destiny buddies got it and because I never did, I missed out on almost a year of badassness (that's a word, right) making the moment I finally got one, oh so sweet.

This is such a broad topic. And there are over thousands of options.
Two that a thought were very memorable were.
1. Watch dogs 1. You spend the entire game chasing this guy down for revenge. And then your ally from the entire game betrays you and there s a drive by shooting in a cemetery.
And n2 is morrowind. You spend the entire game discerning your Godhood, the custom spells give you great freedom of expression. Only to take down Dagoth Ur and realize there is nothing left that s interesting to achieve in the world (just like how your character can feel empty after doing everything in the game)

metroid dread, pretty much every boss takedown cutscene, fire emblem 3 houses golden deer route final cutscene when claude shoots an arrow through nemisis's arm, doom eternal battle of hell in ancient gods pt 2, also the final boss in doom eternal (base game not DLC) and the opening scene in BL2 (although it may not qualify as badass but it is REALLY cool the music is good characters are cool and its funny) oh also midnight riders concert in L4D2 (dark carnival)

How Doom Eternal doesn t make up half the list is beyond me. I would personally pick the opening cutscene to the final level of the last DLC, Immora. Seeing the armies getting ready for all out war was amazing.
Another great pick is the Doom slayer riding the sentinel ship to The Dark lord s tower and then jump off it and then grapple on to a pain elemental with the meathook and the land on the tower by slicing the throat of a Dread knight.

Aww yeah! This is one of the best lists ya'll have done in a while! There's SO MANY badass moments in video games this list can go on for a long time! Pick any video game from any genre and you've got something you work with. Hell, even in Ocarina of Time when Ganondorf transformed into Ganon and you gotta fight him against without the master sword was a big moment for me on the n64! I hope to see a part 2 or 3 of this list soon!

Pick any video game from any genre and you've got something you work with. Then you chase all the other enemies out of Yarikawa, one-shotting anyone dumb enough to still be standing around while this epic score is playing. You have no soul

Saints Row IV has a ridiculous amount of badassery throughout the game, but one stands out as truly badass.
Near the end of the game you fight your way to the armory in Zinyak's ship and find the Power Armor. When you put it on The Touch by Stan Bush starts playing. This sequence is also when you get the penultimate and the best objective of the whole game - Be a Badass!

In the next top ten I think Resident Evil village earned to get in the video.
You know the moment you enter Miranda's lab and all strings out of the whole series get put together. For me as an die hard Resident Evil fan that was mind-blowing epic/ Badass.

Warhammer 40, 000: Space Marine, the entirety of the boss fight with the Ork Raid Boss. Starts out that this dude will just surprise you as you go through to the next area. He'll grab you and the fight begins with Gretchin, Ork Boyz, Shoota Boyz, and Squigs.
