Blood and Wine definitely deserves top spot in this list (heck, if it'd been released as a standalone game, it'd be riding high in any top RPG game list, but my one main gripe about it is that it almost completely overshadowed the Hearts of Stone DLC that preceded it. Which is real shame, as it is an excellent story with a truly memorable villain and some great quests. But ultimately, taking place as it did in a previously barren north-east corner of the Velen/Novigrad map, it just couldn't compete with the sights, sounds, colour and spectacle of Toussaint in Blood and Wine. Still definitely worth checking out though.

The main reason I loved CD Projekt Red was not for the Witcher 3 but because of Blood and Wine it showed how much effort they had put in to keep the fans enthralled in the world. The CyberPunk 2077 story is good but everything else is sub par. I wasn't expecting Witcher 3 levels of excellence but I think even CD Projekt Shills would admit they should have just made 3 more Witcher 3 DLCs. Then start on this New Witcher Cat school game. Nobody can deny that they would have preferred that and if they do they are lying to you and themselves.

The most impressed I ve been with any DLC in years is Blood and Wine for Witcher, and Iki Island for Ghost of Tsushima. They re both pretty big new maps with a lot to do, plus they both have genuinely compelling and surprisingly poignant stories. They didn t just feel like add-ons, they were meaningful extensions that also went deeper with the characters. Hell, Blood and Wine could be an award-winning game all by itself, and the journey Jin undergoes is an emotional one that might just hit harder than the base game.

The Following is a fantastic DLC much better than the vanilla game without a doubt. Blood and Wine is an unrivalled masterpiece of DLC. The game was already incredible then that came out and I had to pause as soon as you arrived because it looked beautiful. I had not expected the DLC to be that big, Toussaint is breath-taking and the story is brilliant. To make a DLC for a game that is already a 10/10 and make it better makes no sense until you play it and see it with your own eyes.

Blood and Wine was so great, but I am afraid I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. I had already put 150 or so hours into The Witcher 3 and then went right into Hearts of Stone. By the time I wrapped up Hearts of Stone I was feeling pretty burned out on the game, but I jumped into Blood and Wine. It was almost an entire game in itself and felt more like a slog than it should have for sure.

WHAT. Valhalla had a DLC. There is so many places, other than ''enland'' to go to. Vinland, Jotunheim etc. Damn. Got to play Valhalla again i guess.
and i also think Blood and wine is the best dlc ever. Just the scenery. It feels like heavean. Compared to the otherwise dark and evil world, its so bright and sunny. Its one of those places you jsut forget the real world when you see it

FO4's Far Harbor has an atmosphere that's like New Vegas's Dead Money. I kinda wish the radioactive fog was more constant like the Dead Money DLC was. I kinda get that with Mods, I just gotta up the damage more.
Also. Bathesda FO76 16. 00 for a skin for your power armor. While CDPR provides Blood and Wine for like 15. 00

you'd have to pay me 40 bucks to play more AC Valhalla. Blood and Wine was so much more than I was expecting though, I was late to the Witcher 3 so I just got the GOTY edition and figured, meh the expansions will gimmie a couple extra hours towards the end, was not expecting a new area of that size and density, was awesome

I read the title and immediately correctly guessed the number one spot. For reference, I replayed recently the entirety of Witcher 3 and 100% everything. Main game and Hearts of Stone together took me exactly 100 hours, while Blood and Wine alone took me exactly 50 hours. Can you even call it DLC lol

I remember buying the Fallout 4 season pass and was underwhelmed when I got Automatron, although it was very cool content, it wasn t much. Also with the other base building dlc. But Far Harbor definitely made up for it, I spent so many hours roaming around the island. It was really such a great dlc

Is this a wistful thinking for the impending Elden Ring Dlc? Hoping it will be big! I would love a new region to match the size of one of the other regions but I d prefer the dlc to be adding cool new weapons/npcs/magic and an amazing new looking (art direction) region than just being huge.

Yeah I definitely feel like I stole from CDPR.
I didn't get into the witcher until the Netflix series dropped so I paid just 10 for TW3 & all it's dlc.
Sure I was 5 years late to the party but enjoying 100s of hours of their content for 10 bucks is highway robbery sorta.

The reason I never got the Ikki DLC was because Tsushima's main map was not actually that big compared to games of its genre. The game is obviously incredible but the only complaint was its too small compared to Fallout, GTA, God of War, Witcher 3, Dying Light etc
