Im finally with the Ghosts of Tsushima crowd. Been playing that since the new PSN settled in. And I love that game. Keeping me good and busy too. Feels like I ve played a ton but I realize I have a shit ton of the game left. But I m really enjoying it. I tend to bounce around games though. Playing that one most. Took a break from Immortals: Fenix Rising to play Ghosts. Was playing that just as much. So I will be getting back to that here eventually. So it ll be two stories concurrently going on around me, playing those two, sharing time between em. But played Beyond Blue today just so I wouldn t get too sucked in and not do the chores I needed to get to. Wife s gonna say something eventually if I don t haha.

Also another great survival game if anyone is looking for some to play rn Voidtrain is breathtaking and mysterious. You build a train to use a mobile base to traverse the void. Going through very unique worlds and fight very unique monster and people. Oh! And it is multiplayer too. up to 4 people. you'll also collect some interesting pets that do interesting stuff. mostly sleep tbh tho. but it's been a lot of fun and I have no idea what the end is

Dead matter already flopped, 0% of it's backers are playing it currently, it's unplayable. They've just not got enough experience between them to make the game they promised us, hence why the members of the team who've left the company have actually started making a dead matter copycat, (can't remember what it's called) they've been making it for like 5 months and the free demo is already twice as good as the current version of dead matter.

I normally at least somewhat enjoy GameRanx vids, but this one was weak. The first two games aren't survival. rather, the tag is stretching it; Raft is by no means a new game, but I guess if you count a full release and not just first published, sure; Dead Matter is a giant nothingburger and is a failed project multiple times over, but hey, SOtF was on here, and some of the other titles looked interesting.

Not really Neil but what I m playing is Icarus. I ve been on and off with it with each big update and it s been a really fun game if you haven t played I d suggest you do. For an early access title it s absolutely gorgeous and gameplay is surprisingly smooth with both mechanics and visual performance

no mention of The Day Before? Im still on the fence for i feel about it. It gives me a lot of the same feelings The Division gave me when it first came out. Im still really looking forward to it releasing so that i can at least get an answer about whether its good or not and stop contemplating.

For the record Dead Matter doesn't have potential. It has horrible devs that have no idea what they're doing and ban anyone not giving glowing reviews of their obvious crap. Shame on you for putting this turd on this list.
And yes, I am a backer and have played this so called game.

I'm sorry, this is venting. But you guys should have just put in 10 survival games for PC and taken out little devil inside. This was VERY frustrating to find not a single other game on console. I know I'm just mad about that but still. Seems pointless to not just make it PC exclusive

I recently and I mean like 3 days ago just picked up No Man''s Sky on steam and instantly fell in love with it. I can't really do any of the online stuff because my internet sucks but this game is fantastic so I should be good on the survival (kinda) games for a good while

Ocuppy Mars: The Game is already a failure in scientific accuracy lol if you're gonna make a game around living on a radioactive planet like Mars you should probably talk with a NASA expert. You think you can have an above ground complex on Mars? Lmao

The thing about raft is once u get to the end of the story an u get the shiny new blueprints to make the best weapons/tools in game there s no point or reason to use them. Besides just building a bigger raft. For me it was incredibly disappointing.

I really want a cyberpunk themed survival rpg play as a teen(or kid for more difficulty) its in a city. skill progression and looting like skyrim. Combat, but the character is overwhelmed by groups. some sort of progression story. my dream game!

Most of these are PC games and as cool as they are I felt the list kinda ignores the console gamers. Still a cool list but would have liked to see more cross platform titles as well. Surprised Callisto Protocol didn t make the list either.
