At least Racing the Forklifts in Shenmue1 was incredibly Fun! You looked forward to the Daily Race each day, once you made it that far into the Game of course.
But in Shenmue2, there is NOTHING in that entire game that makes it as Fun as the Original Shenmue? It s almost like the Devs did this on Purpose too? Like they knew the Sega DreamCast was dying, so it s like they intentionally made Shenmue2 LESS FUN, because they knew that hardly no one would play the Version on DreamCast, that most(if any) Would play it on the Xbox?
Maybe this is just Not True at all? But all I know is I can Play thru Shenmue1 and still be Entertained the whole way thru! Even looking forward to Certain Segments of the Game!
But Shenmue2. I STILL HAVEN T BEAT-

I have the Platinum in the PS4 ports of Shenmue 1 and 2. That book airing section in Shemue 2 is even more annoying than you think. It's been a bit since I've played it so I don't remember the exact ins and out, but in order to get a specific move (which is important for a trophy) you HAVE to complete the book section in a certain amount of time, 3 days in a row. Meaning you can only afford 1 mistake otherwise you won't have enough time to complete it because of how long it takes him to pick the books back up. And considering Shenmue is the originator of QTE's. the ones in these games don't play any games, you have a split second to hit them and they better be right.

Funny enough I'm playing Days Gone at the moment and thought exactly the same thing, whilst the first 2-3 were still fine, because they were manageable, the later ones get more and more frustrating. Worst part is when you start from the beginning, you also have to listen through that whole conversation of them again. But I don't know if you know, yesterday I tried one of those missions many times and after my 10th attempt the game asked me if I wanna skip it and progress with the story (like mission completed. That's a relief as now I know, if I don't wanna play it, it's totally skippable.

Assassins creed odyssey can t remember the name but when you go undercover in the cult and you meet your sibling it s just slow and boring you walk like your a snail and the only exciting thing in a otherwise rpg game is when you chose to punish the guy tell the captor to do it or tell em to stick it and give em another chance that mission is forever burned into my brain as one of the most tedious and slow I ve ever played

There are so many harder missions in Jak 2. The tank mission is a good candidate, but honestly the one where you're backed into the edge of the water slums and you have to walk your way back while bombarded by guards holds a special place of rage in my heart. until you realize you can cheese it by dark bombing the water and destroying the drone and then you can jetboard to the end of the mission. Also the racing missions!

Supply Lines made me so angry at first, but I kept trying until I figured out the paths of each motorcycle and the best order to go after them. I'd land the plane in front of them and shoot them from the ground instead of trying to control the plane and shoot at the same time. After that, I could complete the mission over and over again with time to spare. But it was very frustrating at first.

I was somehow expecting Vice City with the RC helicopter on the list or the Tutorial from the original Driver.
For me most frustrating are the missions where you have to escort and safe NPCs and walking or running at completely different speeds XD
But 100 percent agree to the point with the stealth mission which fail as soon as you are detected.

The jobs in No More Heroes are intentionally bad. It's a commentary on how trying to achieve your dreams always involves a bunch of mundane and unrelated shit before you can get to what you're actually meant for or good at. In terms of game design it's a questionable choice but I'm not exactly playing Suda games for the gameplay. Looking at you, Killer7.

Ngl, I m actually fine with supply lines, especially I can complete that mission whether if it s original or definitive. I can complete any missions in San Andreas on my first attempt. But in Vice City, there are several missions that are hard as hell to me. So I d rather do supply lines over Vice City missions.

Gotta disagree on Days Gone. The stealth is VERY forgiving and it's a nice change of pace. In my whole play through, I only ever got caught once in a NERO mission, and it was entirely my fault. You can be pretty bold and not get spotted. Plus, the backstory was interesting. Rare miss from Gameranx

Thanks a million for including the game of my childhood Jak 2! I never see those games on these lists. You re spot on regarding the difficulty of that part and the game as a whole. I also recall the part where you have to walk as a blast bot to the other side of the city in one piece being quite hard

Hi, I thought the racing mission was easy. I did it first try, but the mission, when you had to shoot the engines of the plane was hard I thought. Because the aiming was all over the place. I think I had to do it about 20 or more times. Anyway keep up the good work from Dave in Australia.

The first fight with Letho in Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was so insanely difficult. It felt almost as if the game was trolling me. Wild hit boxes, supremely overpowered boss, janky controls, weird input lags. I know its an outdated game but if you want a challenge, go back and try this.

Dunno if anyone has mentioned it yet, but the Da Vinci missions in Assassins Creed Brotherhood were really frustrating. The flying machine one was particularly infuriating with it's bugged controls that I bet still haven't been fixed to this day. I am unwilling to go back an check.
