10 Brand NEW Multiplayer Games Trying Something NEW J.: Arc Raiders has me tentatively hyped, I must admit. It really looks like my kind of thing, especially with the TPP and the big robots. The free to play does worry me a little bit, though. It's going to be how they monetize it that's going to determine even I even install it long enough to give the gameplay a try. But hey, maybe they'll pull from Warframe and come up with a model that is not only pretty fair to players, but actually makes me want to give them my money.

The same makers as the Friday the 13th game is where you lost me on that one.
Games which revolve around multiplayer require developers who will continue to put in effort for years to keep a game (or series of games) alive, stable, and balanced.
Maybe they'll do better this time. But I'm not going to risk my money to figure it out. Last time I preordered and never got to actually enjoy the game. Just looked forward to a roadmap that was never fulfilled.
I'm probably in a good position to try the new game, what with my low expectations, it would be hard to disappoint me LOL

I know we don't exactly know this and it's just a speculation I but I'm really hoping gta 6 has drop in drop out co op like I feel like that was a missed opportunity with five it would be pretty awesome if they made it so you can control one character and friend could control the other either online or couch and you both just tackle missions and make chaos it would definitely be doing things differently than normal

LOL when games are not longer targeted for your demographic. I'm 32 years old and I'm not a fan of all that ultra colored/saturated stuff. Also every history is just like -why are we fighting for,
-It doesn't matter just shoot the bad guys! with that Guns are TOYS guys! Tone. LAME A F. Time for play that long ass backlog of games I have.
and is ok if you like those games but nah not for me.

Hyenas? I m just stuck not seeing a sequel to the award-winning Alien Isolation, being left with Whatever Elite and a hero shooter trend that almost killed COD and Battlefield. At-least Destiny seemed to classify the hero part pretty well. And all of these hero shooters without a console revision of Team Fortress 2. Yeah nah not feeling Hyenas. At. All.

I saw so many people trashing Hyenas when the trailer came out and I genuinely don't understand why. It looks like an incredibly unique game with a strong art direction to go along with it. Sure it sucks to not get Alien Isolation 2 but that doesn't mean we need to trash everything else those devs come out with.

Asymmetrical games never seem to catch my interest. Spies vs Mercenaries from the Splinter Cell games make sense because it's still A vs B on an even plane. These horror games, however, looks like most are playing as a boring ass survivor with little to nothing fun while only one person gets all the fun.

There is also game Evercore Heroes, a new title made by former Riot and EA veterans that introduces a brand new competitive genre to gaming--
the MOCO (Multiplayer Online Co-op)
4 teams, 4 heroes per team, each racing to complete raid dungeons the fastest.
I saw this on twitter!

The Friday the 13th game was very disappointing in the end saying how it s basically unplayable now unless you just wanna be Jason. I don t know what they were thinking not allowing people to be counselors as well off-line hopefully they fix that in this newer adaptation

A side scroller Battle Royal isn't new, there is actually a game that has been out for a few years that is just exactly that. It's called Soviet Jump Game, and it's made by the Game Grumps. Only difference is it's the graphics are classic arcade style vs. realistic

Friday the 13th was awesome on pc before it got abandoned and occupied by hackers. It s good to pop in for a wacky time of like 4 Jason s running around, but it ll be cool to have a similar co op game to play that doesn t get sent to pasture by its IP holder.

I'm actually very excited for ARC Raiders, the game looks amazing, nice setting, fighting big alien robots and is actually free to play? Sign me in! Also very excited for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre game, looks promising.

I'm so excited for the Texas Chainsaw game. Ever since Friday the 13th died off, I've been wanting something to scratch that itch again, and Dead by Daylight went downhill a long time ago. I'm excited for TCM.

Omg I loved Killer Klowns of Outer Space I watched it first as a child in Cine Trash, a program that aired on Tv Record here on Brazil with the best horror trash had to offer, I will definately play it!
reply

oh. That kind of multiplayer. ARC raiders had me adjust my comment, but that's the only one that didn't get an outright bleh. Dune is too early to tell, so it doesn't even get that yet.
