10 video game exploits that were the worst
video description
Battletoads and Double Dragon on NES. This was a hardware exploit where using a Rapid Fire controller with the function turned on would allow you to begin air-walking. While Air-Walking, your character could not fall into pits, and could walk as far up the screen as you wanted them to. It had the added benefit of allowing you to deal damage to enemies as if your vertical location was face to face with the enemies.
This was really useful for avoiding projectiles, and damaging bosses that were hard to defeat, and avoiding the platform portions of the game which ... there were a lot of swinging vine pits to cross, a la Pit Fall style.
The only drawback to using this exploit was that you couldn't One-Hit K.O. enemies, and there were a few bosses you could One-Hit K.O. if you didn't use this exploit where using the exploit actually made some boss fights longer.

I'm the game combat arms by nexon there's one map that had a sight gap in the wall that you could squeeze through if you knew how that would get you outside the map somewhat, basically you where sandwiched between to barriers one being an object texture (iron bars over a window the size of a door) and the edge of the map. In that spot you could shoot out but not be shot and people could see you though the bars so they would shoot and give away themselves and not hit you and you could shoot back and take them down. I have gotten in to that spot a few times (don't know if it was patched) more as a troll than to get an advantage strafing side to side like a shooting gallery target. Just for the laughs. But that game was and probably still is if it's still around riddled with cheaters.

There was an exploit in Star wars battlefront multiplayer where on a specific map (I don't remember which) you could crouch through a small piece of mountain texture and be underneath the map, you could then shoot the enemy from this vantage point, the worst part is that it was next to the enemy spawn point & it's actually something I discovered myself by accident within the first few days of release, I only ever did it twice and I never told anyone about it because it was extremely obscure and a very specific location... I didn't want to contribute to people effectively cheating to win.

In the very early days of No Mans Sky (I bought it day one and actually really enjoyed it day one) you could get a lot of money from harvesting gold and gold would appear in large mounds on planets. If you went far enough away from the mound after harvesting from it and then went back up to it, it would regenerate and you could harvest it again for more gold. I made around 50 million units that way within a few hours

When it comes to exploits in single player games, I don't mind that they exist since literally nobody forces you to use them and it doesn't have any effect on other players.
I personally don't use exploits even in single player games because it takes the fun out but I don't really mind if it's there. As long as it's not something you can easily do by accident ofcourse.

So this one is one I just discovered in God of War 2018 when you are about to Complete Labor if you die right after you complete that you still keep the experience and you can read complete the labor over and over and over again until pretty much infinite

The Mew exploit on Pokemon Red/Blue.
The Missingno glitch on Blue/Red.
The infinite Paragon/Renegade exploit in Mass Effect 1.
The exploit during the last boss in Uncharted 2 because holy hell that boss got super annoying out of nowhere.

Battlefield 4 - Operation Locker on Conquest...There was ALWAYS someone who glitched into the walls in the middle point. Made the map so unenjoyable which sucks cause it was THE fire-fight map IMO
