10 Insane Time Travel Moments in Video Games Shut: Actually Time travel towards the future could be a possibility. However, doing so would require a near infinite source of fuel that could allow us to travel as fast as the speed of light. And as we all know, the closer an object gets to the speed of light the more fuel required as the object's mass increases. Here's a cool thing as well, because of the stroboscopic effect when wheels on a car are moving very fast you can see the hub caps seemingly moving in reverse.

0: 09 oh really? Explain tachyon particles interacting with their past light cones? Also you can time travel forward by going a fraction of light speed (above 50% of light speed is when it really is noticeable. You gotta keep in mind time is linked to space and thus anything that warps space warps time, and by adjusting your angle to move faster through space you needs must move slower in time to conserve the moment as in the faster you move in space the slower you move in time. Also black holes warp space time due to sheer gravity so if you wanted to slow time down you could just hang out near a black hole above e horizon

While Titanfall 2 still has the best singular instance, I'd also like to point out Final Fantasy 14. It comes near the end of a huge, complex story, so I don't want to spoil it, but for the build-up to it, it doesn't seem like it'd be time travel, so when it actually happens, you and your character are just in complete bewilderment, thinking okay where is this going. but basically you go through an entire zone in the past, with some of the best character interactions in the whole story, and one hell of a conclusion before you leave. It's very Kingdom Hearts-y, granted, but imo it just works here.

DQ11 could have been explained a bit better, it's choosing to go back in time, lose all those memories with your friends, lose all those characterization changes to go back in time and save the one friend who sacrificed herself to save the whole group
You go back in time and your best friends are more cold to you, they haven't travelled the world with you as much, your enemy turned bestie hates you again, you're restarting a lot of your friendships to save one person.
Like if you could go back in time could you rizz your current partner? maybe maybe not

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time definitely has my favorite use of time travel in a platformer series! It could be said that the two instances of hopping through time portals, and doing things in each timeline, to effect the other and progress the story. Could be seen as kind of a prototype, for what would eventually be Rift Apart's dimension hopping aspect. Fair point, but it definitely serves as some of ACIT's best moments!

I would put 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim first, the time travel in this game in INSANE because. (spoilers spoilers). it turns out, it isn't actual time travel in the end, and they just find out that they live in some bubble comunities themed on different eras of the same town, so they are just traveling trough one bubble to the other and not actually time traveling. Its such an amazing twist.

Driver Parallel Lines deserved a honorable mention! A game that have two versions of a hugh open world on the PS2/Xbox era, 1978 (I think) and 2006. It's not time travel per say. but you get to experience the change in era and after beating the story. you can change the age. being able to take cars from the future and use them in the past! It was mind blowing.

When i listen to falcon having a stork about The 3rd birthday, I'm just wondering what would happen the time he will finally discover the Drakengard series and will have to make entries for videos about it. Lets just say, there's no way in earth someone is able to explain why giant babies are falling from the sky announcing the doom of humanity

I wanna know how or why Quantum Break wasnt on the list? Like a game where you get powers (and also afflictions) from a time travel machine malfunction and create a zone 0. Zone 0, a place where time itself is sliding constantly forward and backwards through time. And there's also plot twists like every 10mins and mutliple choice as well.

Drakengard 1, Ending E.
One minute the people of Tokyo, Japan are happy doing their thing, the next a giant white naked beast women and a dragon are fighting it out in the city centre, the dragon wins gets merked by japanese air forces and the queen beast turns to ash which brings on about the end of life as we know it.

So I had just watched some Star Trek episodes that feature time travel, and it's wild that it happens so frequently in ST's universe that Starfleet has actual laws about it. Maybe some of these time travelers should start following Starfleet guidelines about time travel lool

Probably one of the biggest Time Travel events I remember is the ones from Final Fantasy XI and the ones from Final Fantasy XIV. Let's not get into the fact that FFXI also has parallel universe travel. (Which isn't the same as shard travel in FFXIV)

Singularity was such a great game. The time travel was actually interesting and if you watch the trailer and read all the notes you realize there is no way to fix the timeline cause your character is already in an altered version.

Whether it s phenomenal writing or the improv skills of Falcon, I love the mix of scripted structure and just absolute chaotic ADHD of Falcon in the newer videos. A great balance and such a comedically gifted bird

AC Unity WW2 moments are glitches in the animus that are designed to hide extra information. Fans of the series will understand what's happening when you play it. Falcon, your commentary here is gaslighting just a bit.

OMG i TOTALY FORGOT ABOUT THE 3RD BIRTHDAY ENDING AHAHAH I think i might have been what 15 yo back then. damn I dont think i did ujnderstand any of it back then. I need to watch a detailed video of this now ahahah

InFamous should have been on this list. Kessler being revealed as future Cole trying to mold him into being the superhero he failed to be is still one of the best endings to a video game or story in general.
