It's because of this controversy that I don't consider The Last of Us 2 Game of the Year. It should have been Ghost of Tsushima. I respect Caddicarus's opinion. He said Look Ellie, I think Last of Us 2 is a fine game but not worthy of Game of the Year. I think there was a guy who didn't include Last of Us 2 in his top 10 games of 2020. I think Joel made the right choice in Last of Us part 1 since killing Ellie probably wouldn't be able to make a cure anyway. Matt Pat from Game Theory says they could make a cure without killing her and says how.

You know what I don t understand is why after all these years people still call the TLOU a zombie apocalypse, though throughout both games and the tv series, the word zombie is never mentioned. They re infected by contaminated food source. Zombie implies that you are dead and got reanimated. That isn t how this apocalypse started. So basically what I m saying is stop calling them zombies.

At lot of the L. A Noire cases really touched me because they were so brutal and public. It really hurt me deep inside. Some of those cause me the feeling of ill.
Spec Ops till this day hunt me. I needed to pause for like 30 minutes because i couldn't believe what we just did on that game. Like maaaan. This was just hurtful
The end of John in RDR also hurt me at lot. I cried

I d love to have another LA Noir or a full fledged 4K remake/Remester but I still think the OG game looks decent. The facial animations were so revolutionary when it came out. I ll never cool off over TLOU2. It was so bad what they did to our boy. They ruined that story so bad. The game is amazing but that story and choices they made are ugh.

Very little give them the NOPE-heebie-jeebies like eyeball stuff
success in Dead Space 2 is worse than failure
and BG3 has just as bad in the opening cutscene, but it is NOTHING compared to one particular attempt to handle the main plot that every playable character shares

Probably the most real and most disturbing moment in gaming to date. I m starting to realise how little faith I have in the remake simply because today s culture can t handle some of the themes and moral questions of that game right now.

Honestly, even if you didn't like the story in Last of Us 2, the amount of discourse and controversy that the story started over the internet, to the point where the internet as a whole seemed toxic, I think that was going a bit too far for a story of a video game.

That Lizard Trial scene from Heavy Rain kept me up at night, those were some of the most visceral screams in a video game I had heard at that point. Also Kane and Lynch: Dog Days, the torture tapes

The Stroggification sequence in Quake 4 might not be the most 'realistic', but it sure seemed real enough to me the first time I saw it. Still have a scar in my brain because of that scene.

What Remains of Edith Finch is just a Walking Simulator through and through, but I absolutely love the Story Telling, and it definitely hits my Top 10 favorite games of all time.

I don't really agree with some these. Airport scene is COD is just my cartoon character killing other cartoon characters. The real disturbing scene in RDR2 is the creepy guy in the swamp.
