10 DUMBEST Endings in Video Games Godwin: So for Doom, from my understanding, by Doom Slayer killing the Dark Lord (the creator of everything) the universe starts to collapse on itself since it's creator's life force is erased. The demons are erased and Slayer has nothing to slay anymore so the Maykrs use him to sustain the universe since he's the Dark Lord's reincarnation (in some manner) until someone more powerful comes and their life force can balance the universe, and if they cause another Doom the Slayer will be released to do his Doom Slayer stuff.

There's a lot to make fun of about AC Valhalla, but the Norse pantheon having been members of the Isu isn't so far outta left field, seeing as previous games established that members of the Roman and Greek pantheons were as well. Like, this has been a thing for some time now.
But the extra annoying thing about the ending is that fully understanding it hinges on you having completed the Asgard storyline. The optional Asgard storyline. As well as all of those puzzles that you have to complete as Layla, which are also optional. Those things give you a lot of backstory for Loki, making his sudden appearance at the end as a villain way less jarring, especially considering Loki is represented as Basim in the Asgard section of the game. Thing is, I randomly decided to complete both of those parts of the game on a whim before actually finishing the story because I'd been putting them off due to them being the least interesting parts of the game for me. Glad I did, because otherwise the end would have been a major case of whiplash. Moral of the story: Don't hide major plot points in optional sequences of your game. And if you do, for whatever reason, make them actually entertaining.

Altho i think little hope was the weakest so far of the anthology the version of the ending you show is the worst outcome instead of the one where he realizes its the himself on his doorsteps with Vince
Also every entry in the series seems to have something MORE going on than you see in one playthru
between the extra info you get from 100% the clues and the truth cinematic it usually lets you know that there REALLY WAS some witch junk going on at one time and might have influenced the situation a little
same thing for the info on the 2 different types of [REDACTED] in House of Ashes

I personally prefer New Dawn to Far Cry 5 by a good margin.
And given things like Far Cry Blood Dragon and FC Primal are already in the canon, this very slight zig into very, very slightly magical mumb0-jumbo was hardly an issue for me, especially in the post-apocalyptic, post-Bliss world.
Frankly, I thought the story in New Dawn was better than 5 and Joseph Seed had become interesting finally, instead of so obvious.

I was really confused at the Doom Eternal inclusion until the plot was explained all wrong. The Dark Lord is basically God; not The Father (whom was believed to be God. The Slayer was created in the Dark Lord's image to defeat the Dark Lord. When the Dark Lord is defeated, every demonic creation falls, including you since you were created in his image. The Slayer doesn't actually die, but he's locked away in case he's needed again.

Fable 2. You don't get a final boss fight. Instead, you just fight a few waves of mooks, then confront him and wave your maguffin, which makes him lose all his power so he starts ranting at you, and you're just expected to shoot him mid-rant and end the game (and if you let him talk, a different character gets bored and shoots him instead. All that build up, and you just walk up and shoot him. Completely unsatisfying.

How about the 10 shortest full price games. ..
For me the worst was Gungrave for the PS2 beat it on normal in maybe 45 minutes having never played it before (it was a Christmas present) the decided to see if hard mode was better and beat that in about one hour and 45 minutes and that was everything the game had to offer. I'm sure plenty of people were able to beat it even faster than that.

I actually really liked the gansta's in space ending and as for your issues with stag not being present if you chose to save shaundi you stopped stag from commiting an act of terror and framing you with many news outlets present watching as the saints save the day and the monment the mayor heraelf although begrudgingly calls off stag because the public views them as heros

Medan of Medan, Little Hope, House of Ashes and Devil in me where all real disappointments IMO. When you compare them to Until Dawn and The Quarry, they aren t even close. They all have a lot of concepts that should work, but they never really satisfy. Little hope came close with going back in time and the Salem Trials, but that ending felt beyond lazy and generic.

13: 30 That wolf shirt was at my Walmart for like, years, I never bought it, looks tacky, but this yoga master/man bun thinks it's cool. People into wolves are weird. Dude did you see That Israel Adesanya video with his dog? Next I swear he's tellin people he's into loli-pops if you know what I mean. He already admitted to hentei. Flippin Weirdo do

Deus ex mankind divided. I was so mad when I saw the credits, I thought it was some joke at first. Not only was the main plot not resolved, but various side missions were also just left without providing any answers whatsoever. Furthermore, the main bad guy felt like an act 1 type boss that you defeat and then continue with the rest of the game

Gangstas In Space was as irreverent as the series was. I think it fit perfectly as an ending. Especially when you considering THQ going belly up. Obviously Volition knew about THQ's financial issues since there were even rumors that THQ didn't pay Volition Studios for SR3 and that they were in danger of closing because of that.

far cry 5 is a shitty poor mans one piece devil fruits they shouldve just made up a separate game based on the lore and gone balls to the walls with a new franchise. i dont mind a wild premise if its fun but taking already established story with characters and going far left with it as a dlc is not something ppl want.

Just have to say this about Yakuza games. They re all good and fun with a good story. It says a lot about the games when their weakest game is Yakuza 4 and even that one is still good. I agree Yakuza 4 ending was eh but nonetheless it was epic and I love every one of those games dearly

Basim was probably the most interesting character in Valhalla, and the plot with Sigurd and Basim and their connection to the Asgard Isu (space wizards) was probably the best part about Valhalla, because I didn't care for much else in that game tbh. But maybe I'm just too easy to please.

about the far cry new dawn entry, idk but i think the holy power stuff was genuinely cool. i love it when games set in somewhat realistic worlds go into complete unrealistic stuff. there's just something about it that simply clicks with me. Plus the super powers were fun to play with

I've never even played a serious same game but you went a little too crazy for no reason it wasn't even that bad. yes it was being meta and yes it was pointing it out but it wasn't as obnoxious as the bird was, obviously they couldn't afford a better ending. also no BioShock infinite?

I couldn't stand the endings of Cyberpunk. All of them felt so hollow and depressing. It also pissed me off that you can do Johnny's secret ending, fight through hard as nails enemies without dying even once, and the end result is the same as if you just went with Alt or Panam

Hard disagree with little hope. Don t think that was a dumb ending at all. It s very good and one of the best if not the best game in the anthology. As the game goes on you realize it might be all imaginative. But even so, there s still supernatural elements in it
