They couldn't knacker this any harder than they have. Worst thing about it. Most of their crap was completely unavoidable. I just don't get it. This is a new low for gaming and it's not as if Star Wars needs its increasingly damaged branding, dragged through the mud anymore than it already has, this last 12 years. what a mess.
And they released this on STEAM Why It's the PC version. You can just get the normal one, have it WORK and mod it with some really awesome stuff. this industry lol fkn wow!

So I was planning on returning battlefront. But I've been playing it. The single player works and as someone who grew up playing these games and only playing single player or split screen because I didn't have online. I'm just glad to have the two games back and you know it's it's still fun to play. Single player online is f. But I'm still having a good time playing single player on the OG battlefront because goddamn I haven't played that game since the original Xbox

I’m playing on ps5 5 hrs in, I’ve noticed a few things. I played online night of release and there were 8 servers available so is it I think that may be a PC only issue I’ve also been playing hero assault online with no real issues other than my game kicking me at the end of the match every now and then but I can go load back in within a minute or two. I wouldn’t say that is unplayable or that you would even need a refund. I’m having a good time with it.

If Fallout 5 is still in that decrepit and obsolete engine that they have used for everything they've made, I will not even entertain the thought of buying it. I refuse to buy Starfield for the same reason. I know a lot of people don't like Starfield for a lot of different reasons, but I was really interested in it. When I saw that it looked like Fallout 4 in space, removed it from my wishlist and stopped following it. Bethesda is finished if they don't change.

I unfortunately pre-ordered the Aspyr remake of BF 1 and 2 on Nintendo Switch and they removed the option to invert the y axis after the first patch which makes the game completely unplayable for myself as a player, since I can't play without that inversion in every single game I play. I could care less about glitches and online modes, I just want to play with an inverted Y axis, so I'll just sit here and twiddle my thumbs until it's fixed. ):

For the what am I playing question probably still messing around in Palworld since there is no real reason (and never was) to speedrun it to begin with, also they are about to release the first raid boss, so I need to get my breeding standards up to par

The failure of the Battlefront rerelease makes me afraid that we'll never get another modern Battlefront again. Corporate shareholder-pleasing suits are gonna see the backlash from the last several releases and not want to go anywhere near the franchise for fear of losing money. It's such a simple concept for a game that would basically print money. if made with passion and respect for its playerbase.

I had absolutely no problem launching the game right at release, and gaming all offline modes on PS5. Most all nostalgic memories from playing the game were those offline modes like instant action and galactic conquest. No idea why this is such a huge uproar. They’re obviously going to adjust to the demand (but I’ll give you that they should have from the start or at least before release.

This is one time i can say this is just a crazy weird backlash that isnt really justified. they quickly added a lot more servers, you can host games too. Its been fine and plays just like the old ones. the only complaint i have is the file size. other times i get why people are upset, but this time i truly do not get it, they fixed all the server issues within the first few hours

My only experience with Aspyr has been with the KOTOR re-release on Android and that was a DISASTER. There was an acknowledged, game-breaking bug that ruined your saves and Aspyr just left it to die (while still happy to take your money. I can't even play it any more since my phone updated to Android 14. So is this a surprise for me Not in the slightest.

I've personally refunded a number of games over the past 12 months, and not once did I immediately take to social media to voice my displeasure. You know why Because I'm not an asshole. Even the best, most universally praised releases of 2024 have been surrounded by controversy, and it's getting old. There is nothing you mofos won't complain about.

Starwars battlefront classic had pre orders. wouldn't the dev's/ producers know EXACLY how many people pre ordered
Im going to guess that more then 192 people preorder the game.

How about we work on ES6, Todd I was 14 when Skyrim released. I'm about to be 28 this year, Todd. 14 years and we've gotten. A trailer that's nothing more than a camera floating over a landscape tailed along by 10 releases of Skyrim and Skyrim from Wish, but in space, after a nuke, and attempted Skyrim after a nuke, but online with nothing to do.

I’ve been playing the Battlefront Classic Collection all day and I’ve had a pretty good offline experience so far and I’ve really been enjoying it! There are some glitches here and there, but nothing game-breaking for me. The biggest thing is that on the Battlefront 2 campaign, it skips over the post-battle movies for some reason.

The real disaster is it re-released not even as a remaster and they still screwed it up! Its crazy how you can screw up something like this! I didnt play the originals and didnt buy this but man i considered jumping in. nope i aint doing it im not pissing about with patches on 20 year old games.

I really hope for the people who lost their jobs in last few weeks will come together or separately (in groups) make games studios so we can get some new competition in the market and at the same time they will give tough competition some quadruple A gaming companies.

When they had a pre sale of Battlefront Classic Collection I found it very suspicious. As far as I know there had been no sort of beta so no real idea of how well the game worked. Just seemed to me like they were trying to sell crap wrapped up in a nice nostalgia wrapping.

Yeah the original is unplayable even in single player for me. Downloaded it for switch and the aiming is awful. The reticle jumps like it's following a locked path. I end up positioning myself instead of trying to aim while shooting quite often.
