The preview for No Rest for the Wicked gave me strong Darksiders Genesis vibes. Which is actually making me curious, b/c I'm not that interested in another pure diablolike.
Another game that had a demo is Ereban: Shadow legacy. If you are looking for a more old-school 3rd person stealth game, it's definitely worth checking out.
ZAU demo was neat, but I don't think the enemy variety's gonna be all that big in it.
There's a ton of other cool MVs coming this month. Sheba: the New Dawn (for a bit of an Arabic mythos feel) and Biomorph is out of Early Access (and that's Ender Lilies on steroids. Oh yeah, and the sequel for that game, Ender Magnolias is also releasing into Early Access this month. As is Biogun. r a
The AA/ indie onslaught just doesn't end. Stellar Blade looks neat, but I'll have to wait for a PC version.

So what exactly does souls like mean. When I hear that I think, no diff level, super frustrating, super hard, no fun. I know some people love validating themselves by beating a super hard video game or pushing buttons better than anyone else. I could see that in a PVP kinda game but in an SP game I just don't see the point. Maybe I've outgrown them. I've been gaming a long, long time. I do seem to remember having that mentality at some point. Now, I just to have fun and be entertained. I have had and have enough unwanted frustrations and stress, IRL. I don't want it in my gaming life.

I tried the demo for Children of the Sun and Sand Land, I didn't enjoy either of them. Sand Land mostly because the demo just drops you in and explains nothing, and it feels very barren and pointless. Children of the Sun feels like a mobile game. Why wasn't Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes mentioned, but these two and Sea of Thieves coming to a new console were Top NEW games means none of that.

I don't have the warm and fuzzies after attempting to play the Sand Land demo. When I started it up it was VERY stuttery so I changed some settings around and tried again but then the game kept crashing and I couldn't start it. It seems like yet another game that's bound to be a disaster at launch.

Love the game look.
Don't get me wrong. Hyper realistic game graphic is really cool and awesome in some games.
But old school look where they are very cartoon'ish is great and offen easier to play because you don't have to be so involved and serious all the time

Souls-like Metroidvania - for god's sake, use your words and stop using such reductive, lazy terms to describe things. I'm surprised you didn't thrown in Rouge-like/lite for good measure! If your job is to describe things, then do so, using the tools given to you!

You know if Xbox is releasing several games over to PlayStation PlayStation can do kind of the same thing occasionally with Xbox I really want to play stellar blade I would really be happy if it was to come to Xbox there's no reason why it can't

Europa hands down takes April for me, as DD2 did for March. But Europa genuinely looks Premium and not ''just another feel good try hard indie'' or straight rip off of the recent Zelda games.
It feels more like Forsaken - but done right.

I feel like this will he the last month of solid games for a bit. Just finished Rebirth. Next up Dragons Dogma 2 and i am leaning more and more towards Stellar Blade. All the previews that came out tofay had nothing but great things to say.

I'll try the Stellar Blade demo, but it's not a day one purchase. I've barely touched Dragon's Dogma II or ReBirth yet, need to work on those. I wouldn't be surprised if my next purchase was anything other than the Elden Ring DLC.

7: 41 this game reminds me of a game called dragons crown it has the same graphics with the level layout design and fighting it might have been made by the same company (maybe in the same universe as dragons crown)

Hell yeah, Manor Lords is finally coming out! I played the demo for it like 2 years ago during a NextFest and loved it, even without any combat mechanics at the time. So excited to finally play the full release!

After watching a video of a bunch of teens murderers, I feel kind of weird now for number 9. I’m a gamer and definitely don’t blame games, but I wonder do media in general just make us indifferent to violence

I honestly applaud Microsoft for releasing games for the PS5 and focusing on content instead of console wars. It’s a good move for us as consumers to be able to enjoy more games that we like where we like.

Isn’t No rest for the wicked coming out in early access and not the complete release I might be wrong. If it’s on early access then there will be no co-op. I am interested to play this with a friend.

Topspin 4 LEGITIMATELY looks like a higher quality game then this one which came out in 2011. It looks embarrassingly bad. Make a cartoony version if you’re gonna put zero quality into it.

I can’t wait to play stellar blade. I hope it is as fun as it looks. Also another crab treasure looks amazing. I love that art style and I wonder how difficult the game will actually be.

Demos should be an industry standard again. Too long have corporations expected us to blindly spend money on their products, especially with the steep decline in quality lately.

So excited for Stellar Blade. I might pick up Sea of Thieves too considering how bad Skull and Bones was botched.

Lets be honest, we will all be playing Steller Blade at the end of month until completion, and SandLand is in our Backlog. Some of the others look good, but most look like trash.
