Alright we pulled the framerate jockey thing. Of oh no it's 30 frames per second. Believe it or not movies and shows are 24 frames per second and yes this includes the big blockbusters. Do not fall into the frame rate trap the only thing having a higher framerate can possibly change is reaction time and there is a lot of nuance to this, but it is so minimal it more then likely will never make a difference. Do not get caught up in it. Actually you can save your self time money and a headache if you set your frames to 30 Frames cause games are usually less buggy and it takes way less load on your computer and devices. If you couldn't see it and didn't know what it was. You more then likely wouldn't care anyway. Stop asking games to be less fun and interesting just because you want to have more frames.
This games looks freaking gorgeous, but it sucks because I can't run it at 120 frames. So beyond ignorant to say. Gpu, Monitor and TV companies prey on this. Even seen faked TV footage differences it's great.

Who cares about realistic graphics when there is no physics, environmental destruction, fire, bullet penetration or anything that actually makes a game fun It's like shooters just peaked at Crysis and Far Cry 2 and it's all been downhill since then. Sure modern Far Cry has pretty trees, but who cares when they wont burn In Far Cry 2 your gunfights could end in a forest fire that burns up acres of trees and grass, and actually burned it up, down to black dirt and leafless sticks of trees. What happened to fun I hate how modern games seem to ignore everything but graphics!

Black Myth: Wukong just makes me terribly bummed that Enslaved didn't get a sequel. It was truly a masterpiece. Such a magical game, story, characters, acting (Andy Serkis, animations. And they wanted to do a sequel but it wasn't successful enough. And I wish we would have gotten an ACTUAL Hellblade sequel and not all the Senua stuff. And really, I played the original Hellblade, and Enslaved was infinitely better, so people really screwed up with where they spent their money, in my opinion. We we cheated out of something truly special.

idk man its like people lack creativity now and shove ultra realism in evryones faces for an excuse for Here's aultra realastic game that will take a heart and a lung just to run at 60 fps and not even look visually pleasing
These realastic things are fun to look at for a while but artstyle is very important, looka ath black myth wukong it loks good has character and graphically pleasing.
what companies need to do is pick a artstyle and stick to a grqaphics style and optimise it to its full extend and move to its next venture

Take any studies with a grain of salt. No one needs to prove anything about video games. Do people like board games Sports Surfing Hunting Stamp collecting Do we need studies to prove whether those things are okay or not
Of course games are good for our mental health, as long as we're not raging constantly. When my anxiety would really ramp up, I'd play something like Hot Shots Golf to unwind so I could go to bed, because it's just such a light, feel-good experience.

Thing isif Capcom does bring back more IP’s, then they need to be actual remakes like resident evil, not deluxe remaster crap. Seriously, the new deadrising doesn’t even look much better than the original. Certainly not graphically impressive for a game in 2024, and the gameplay is seriously dated. We need new animations, mechanics, physics, etc. As much as I love deadrising, I will not be buying the remaster. It’s just lazy and an obvious cash grab.

I feel the reason why I never completed a lot of civ vi games was how the AI works. Increasing the difficulty seems to only give them a boost at the start and a bit of extra production, you always struggle at the start, but then eventually you overtake them and it just becomes a grind, there doesn't seem to be much chance I'll loose but I'm still a ways off for winning so leave that game behind and start a new one.

When something is remade the idea is to bring something new to an existing piece of work and in movies there's limited way to do that. On the other hand games are limited by the technology available at the time of release and that technology is constantly evolving so you could honestly recreate a game using the exact some story and dialogue but still create a very different, and often better, experience.

I wish they would stop looking at the number of people finishing games. I have 800 hours in Cyberpunk and I still haven't finished the main storyline cept for the DLC one. I only finished Skyrim's main storyline a couple of times and I have over 1500 hours in that game. For me at least the best parts of the game are modding and honestly I just like starting from scratch.

I find that study quite interesting. They don't talk about the type of video games that helps mental health. I know online games like war, thunder and of that nature of competitive play can be stressful on the other hand games like the sims and that genre absolutely good for mental health But what's your opinion What kind of games do you guys play to relax

Black State looks like a mix between the Arkham series and MGS. If they do things right, it could be amazing. Black Myth Wukong is the perfect example of give people what they want, escapism in their games without politics/virtue signaling, and you’ll make 3/4 of a billion. Possibly more when all is said and done. Give us the opposite of Dustborn.

Anyone that says graphics and gameplay can’t coexist has obviously never played The Last of Us. Still blows my mind every time I play it. I wish more developers made games with that level of quality as opposed to the influx of soulslike games as of late. Most games still can’t even make a decent running animation. cough cough silent hill 2

Having only relatively recently picked up Civilization VI, I will say that taking much of the resources of a decent-sized empire and hundreds and hundreds of years to successfully lay siege to a single city-state gets old fast. Adding complexity to systems is not necessarily the same thing as _improving_ those systems.

Remakes and Remaster's a good game everyone liked and somehow the screw them up, by bringing in wokeness and garbage consulting Firms, like SBI just to get their DEI and ESG scores up. Just make a FINISHED game with no garbage in it and you will sell it and make profits how do Companies not understand this

Hopefully the 'photoreal' graphics trend will blow itself out before it ever really gets going. it's one of those things that sounds like it'll be amazing, but in practice it's really time intensive to get right, and ends up becoming the centerpiece instead of the gameplay, which always suffers.

I’m glad you agree with being happy about the new Dying Light being it’s own game instead of a DLC for the second game, especially if they actually bring back aspects of the first game. I saw a Reddit post about it and everybody was whining like a bunch of babies because it wasn’t a DLC

Its not the only monkey king game, there was the more family friendly one on last gen (ps4) called Monkey King Hero is Back, but i get that this one is appealing to a wider audience because its sort of teasing the souls vibes and much nicer graphics and gameplay

Nice video to go with the morning coffee, very fun and super jaloux of the event in Germany and saying hi to Jake. Also super excited to start black myth, read the book a little while back in honor of Toriyama's passing. To honor him ofcourse

They should have a panel discussion on why today's games suck in tearms of not being immersive, interesting, seeking something more, going beyond. instead, we have colorful crap created for all, with generic graphics and stories.

First video Everything is so shiny and perfect. Reflections are perfect. in fact they are too perfect. Beauty is in the imperfection. They needed textured walls floors, mixed lighting etc. it looks realistic but not good.
