I hate to tell people but just about everything has similarities to something else. Its literally impossible to constantly come up with new mechanics or completely new concepts. Sure news stories, characters and have it set up differently. Prime example this game and gears of war sure they have similarities however they are two different games. Considering Warhammer has been out long before gears of wars sure it wasn't always a videogame it started as a table top game then later on branched out to the videogame universe. Whats amazing about Warhammer is that the table top still reigns while the gaming franchise growing and growing each day. Also for the comment about their age in the video well if you know anything about Warhammer and the astardes the oldest one was what 10, 000 years old unless im wrong. But anyways i dont think any of them actually died of old age in the lore they all fell to something else but not age. Sorry if im wrong theres just so much god dn lore its hard to remember everything. At least for me its hard to remember everything.

We had Genestealer cultists in Deathwing though. Normal Genestealers make sense I suppose, but thereotically a group of 10 of them would eviscerate a group of 3 marine's running around. Then again, 6 Tyranid Warriors should be able to do that too, but that actually is a tough fight in this game from footage I've seen.
As for Chaos, well, it obviously makes sense to do the Tzeentchian daemons that ally with the Thousand Sons, but I think daemon involvement should actually be relatively rare in this game. First, other than references and the odd visible thing, I think for the new people it would make clear that daemons (of tzeentch) are separate from the Thousand Sons. Two, unless the daemons add meaningfully to the story, then for new people to the setting I think it would just add noise and possibly detract from whatever story beats this game has. Three, if there is a sequel to this game one day, then they can add and show these disparate elements and give them 'pride of place' that they deserve.

As someone who religiously played the first Space Marine, I don't care how bad it is (I don't think it will be at all) I am going to shred through it with all the joy and sh! t eating grins I can muster. Pvp was rough in the first one but I did manage to grind all the unlocks only for the mode to just evaporate. Made me really sad. I see a ton of mechanics that need to be balanced like perma rolling for pvp to be fun. Assault marines with the jump packs were a freakn nightmare in the first game with constant jump swing spam. As long as cosmetic unlocks are not locked behind pvp for the single player I will be happy. I would love to see one of these games with other playable races like Eldar, Tau, or even Orcs. Man I wanted to play an Orc in the first one. The dialogue was hilarious.

Adding parries is fine but why tf did they put a grapple in It has nothing to do with Space Marines and feels totally forced just because it's a big thing in a lot of other action games.
Also there's no such thing as 'Early Access' at least in this context, Steam's 'Paid Beta' is something else entirely. All it means here is that you pay extra to play the game when it goes live and is fully launched. If you don't pay the extra then you have to wait an extra 4 days before you're allowed to join in.

If any paid DLCs are cosmetic only like they claim then why does it need a season pass The season pass says it unlocks new chapter champions and skins for weapons and armour but again why do those things need a pass This'll be like the crash racing game and others where they add more egregious MTs later on and it'll be part of the more content to be unveiled at a later date that they included under those pass details.

Nobody is talking about wukong performance on console (at least ps5) and i fear any issues this might have are being ignored as well.
Looks amazing and fun. Graphics are insane.
What abojt performance
Whats up with the pricing Seems like early access and battle pass are 30 bucks.
What does the ultra edition pack actually offer
Theres still time until launch and i hope these things will get answered

Gears of war clone That’s confusing as it’s nothing like gears of warYou are a space marine, A Hulking 8-10 feet superhuman and it’s genre is like god of war/Elements from multiple action and adventure games, SM1 was one of a kind, WH40k is older than nearly every sci-fi out there let alone gears of war made by xbox a few years ago, Pretty sure SM weapons are ridiculous compared to any sci-fi genre.

Tbh I love Falcon and looked fwd to his video but he seems meh about WH 4K tho well versed in the lore, idk, but look at all the amazing comments excited for this game. Totally ratiod the video general sentiment. Idk probably it’s just me. But I learned a lot about WH from the comments which is cool at least.
I’ve heard the companion AI was good btw, only one other YT said otherwise yesterday.

Looks very cool, I'd just love to play as a badass lady space marine fukn shit up tho. Doubt itll be an option though, maybe later it might be added. Or at the very least another game some day, the creators of the series at least seem to be slowly making the ip or lore more friendly and ope to everyone. Im sure this will still be fun as hell tho regardless

during the number 3 section he mentioned he wanted to see genestealers, and i guess people dont realize that genestealers and geenstealer cults are the pre cursor to the tyranid invaision and are apart of the tyranid faction and hivemind, theyy are not demons and have no connection to the warp

I hate that people do not know enough about the Warhammer 40k lore to think Warhammer 40k soldiers actually only have a life expectancy of 15 hours. The whole 15 hours thing is just for soldiers who were fighting on Armageddon. and if you do not know what that is, you got bigger problems.

There's like 10 Warhammer games every year. Those asshats will license the IP for a half eaten sandwich.
Don't get your hopes up just because the original was half way decent.
Seems it's just a couple guys who've been milking the entire thing since day one and literally don't care.

I love parries, especially ones that open up new combos you cannot pull otherwise. They also make the game more engaging. Each enemy has a distinct rhythm, forcing you to be more aware of your surroundings. I hope this game will include various parrying modes and finishing moves.

I'm sooo glad that in this sequel the pacing is fully aggressive, not like the first that you could be killed in less than 2 seconds and you had to constantly look for cover and be a sissy.
I mean come on, you're an 8 foot space marine in super armor for the Emperor's sake!

My thoughts on the DLC, it will be chapter related, we are getting the Ultramarines one at launch, but going forwards we will get Raven guard, Blood Angels, White Scars, ECT, chapter packs.
I would personally like to see a Sisters of Battle DLC.

All the classes can use different weapons that share progression with other classes.
Multiplayer shares progression with co-op. All weapons have perks trees and levels to gain to change fire rate etc. basically there’s a lot to progress in.

I feel like you missed the perfect explanation for the tyranids as: Zerg. I mean its not confirmed, but pretty clear that Warhammer 40k provided at least some inspiration for StarCraft. I mean it even has marines in power armor

Wwz is my favorite game in recent memory. It blew my mind when I first played it. When I saw Saber was making another game I was so pumped. I promise everyone this game is going to rock. Wwz 2 but Warhammer skin. I’m in
reply

I do feel that because sabre has shown so much of the game in the last few weeks and months they are confident about the game im not a warhammer fan but it looks like good bloody fun to me like the original was
reply

This will be my introduction to the Warhammer universe. I've been listening to the Remembrancer, other 40k podcasts and Googling lore about the different Astartes Chapters to prepare for this game. I'm super pumped.
