I'd agree with Army of Two.
My bad i thought it was 2010s so id say Lost Planet 2.
I still play this game to this day brought it again on Xbox Series X/S.
I rinsed this game on Xbox 360 would play the campaign with my siblings and Multiplayer all the freaking time. Absolutely Adore this game and the world they built up only for ut to be shattered, tarnished, destroyed and undone in Lost Planet 3 a total departure/disservice shouldn't even be considered the same game.
ExoPrimal has more in common lol and i hope they can build upon that to get to an evolved lost planet akin to the crafted storyline and gameplay of 2.

Love that you guys included Fusion Frenzy. Missing Jet Set Radio and Resistance Fall of Man.
JSR is a Japanese music/skater/gang simulator and it is addictive. I still look up the OST just to listen to the music.
RFM is a Halo meets COD clone, but it's seriously fun and with a solid story to boot. I was playing it with my brother the first time I saw it and rolled my eyes at the clear rip off i thought it was. But it surprised me greatly and I still go back and replay every once in a while. I wish the series was given another chance. The fact that even the story really encourages split screen co-op was refreshing at the time

Gun, I played a ton, though it was (or felt) really short. HOWEVER, Freedom Fighters, bar none. I played it so much back then and something about the 2 player versus mode, killing your friends bots and even my mother played it. How the hits made the same noise as their Hitman games, was fun too as a big fan of those games. The fact we never got another is the saddest thing! Mercenaries I remembered getting lost in just hijacking and calling stuff in with a good friend of mine who i still game with to this day. Godfather was dope and at that time was better than Mafia

GUN is one of my favorite childhood games. Yes, I shouldn't have been playing GUN when I was 8 years old. But I also probably shouldn't have been playing COD either. But I have some really fond memories of playing GUN! I have a feeling the only reason my Dad was okay with me playing these games was because he was WAAAAY into Cowboy movies and guns. Other than football, guns are really the only thing my Dad and I can truly bond and talk about without there being any sort of awkward silence. Thank you GUN, what a GOATed game!

My list for early 2000's:
1. Gothic 1 and 2
2. Ghost Recon
3. Max Payne 1 and 2
4. Star Wars Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast & Jedi Academy
5. Solider of Fortune 2
6. NOX
7. Command & Conquer: Generals
8. Hitman 2
9. Tribes 2
10. Black & White
11. Return to Castle Wolfenstein
12. BF1942
13. Unreal Tournament 2003/2004
There's a lot more, but dang this was a great era. I find myself replaying a lot of these nowadays.

This is a game that absolutely a lot of people would not stand for in 2024, a lot of people of course REALLY meaning a small faction of completely mirthless, cotton candy-haired body-positives who have nothing better to do than be perpetually triggered and have a psychotic need to throw their ensuing tantrums on social media, much to the terror of game companies who used to actually be sane themselves.
Am I right or am I right

I feel, though a very special reason and place in my heart for it, Dynasty Warriors 3 was top tier for it's time, replay value, coop fun/memories and lore. Also, might not be underrated but Socom 2 was the only multplayer game and competitive itch before the CofDs and Halos came along imo i spent far too much time on it as a kid with friends all around the world competing on Gamebattles and endless nights rocking

14: 43 me and my brother spent hours playing RotK 2 players. We'd play through with different characters over and over. That and one of the multiplayer baldurs gate games around the same time that played the same way but we had 2-4 players for it (cant remember which baldurs gate game it was though) I've tried to figure out which one it was. thinking it may have been dark alliance but might be wrong

Army of two is one of the many games i used to play with a dear childhood friend of myn.
You could say that allot of my love towards gaming is because of that friend.
I lost that friend on the 7th of october last year when Hamas attacked Israel. He was just a police officer who was responsible of protecting a rave, and he gave his life doing just that.
An army of one. A god damn superhero.

Freedom fighters was a damn great game.
A simple squad based cover shooter type of run and gun but had so much depth behind it.
I would constantly delete my save and start again in that game.
IO still own the IP I think, they should do something with it, though it probably wont live up to modern TPS games like it now. Well there is no game like it but squad control TPS games.

Damn the memories with my original Xbox games lol. Fuzion Frenzy, Cel Damage, def jam ffny. Ahhh good times man.
I remember playing this sport/fighting game at friends house all the time and never owned it, but I can’t recall the name. You had to throw this ball or disc into a goal to score but you could kick the shit out of the opposing team
Anyone play this

When you got to number 1 and said Army of Two, I literally threw my fists in the air and yelled THANK YOU! I remember me and my best friend I had growing up pulling an all nighter playing through this whole game, and we just had a blast! The progression was so much fun and we just laughed the whole time! Great memories with this game!

Underrated PC game: Demigod
It was a MOBA-style game that launched just a few months before League of Legends, which sadly overshadowed it. I had a lot of fun with this game, the game conceit, the unique characters, the music, the incredible levels, everything. Made by the same company that made Sins of a Solar Empire, Stardock.

Freedom Fighters is literally real world Mario Brothers. 2 Brothers who are plumbers, find themselves in an underground rebel unit pushing to bring back peace from a tyrannical force, after teaming up with a woman that leads the rebellion. Traversing the world through the sewers and coming up in another part of the world itself.

GUN is easily one of the best games on the PS2!
I was in the process of typing this when he mentioned the game. I’m sort of surprised he did!
But I’d say GUN, The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, and Final Fantasy XII are the best and most underrated 2000’s games.

I missed gun! I begged my dad to get it for me but he was mid divorce and he didn't want to get me a rated M game so my mom could use it in the custody battle agaisnt him. And my mom wouldn't get me a rated m game because it was rated m. Ah the good ole childhood memories! Lol

So many awesome games from back in the day! The Warriors from Rockstar. The racing games: Juiced, Midnight Club, Split Second, Burnout, Motorstorm etc. Your Twisted Metal games. Jet Moto. Dino Crisis. The Thing. Shadow Man. I could go on and on. There's thousands.

The Godfather might be one of the most underrated games ever. I had so much fun with it as a kid and it really rivals - even exceeds the earlier GTA games in a lot of ways. WAY ahead of it's time. Still want a remaster, since you cannot even buy it on PC (gee, thanks EA.

I gotta give it up to Kane and Lynch. The game makes no illusions as to what it is: two scumbags doing scumbag things. Total 2000's video game gold. I'd like to think a lot of these games can't be remade only because it was a time and place for stuff like this.

An old and forgotten game Well what about the very first Descent from Interplay. This concept has never bone by anyone else but them. For it's time. It was an awesome game. And I also think that about there sequel's. They where a huge hit. In the 90's: D
