I'm a game developer, working on an open world game myself. I don't trust this game a single bit. First of all, I see a lot of rebadged real life cars, which tells me they're not too worried about doing shady stuff.
Second, the gameplay shown in the trailers is the absolute bare minimum, an experienced developer can create all of the functional gameplay shown in these trailers in a week, I didn't see anything that goes beyond the unreal engine templates.
I use assets from the marketplace as well, but I put some effort into them to make them fit the game, this is just a copy paste, which by itself is also not necessarily bad, but combined with the gameplay it just looks like a low effort attempt to gain interest.

I'm pretty sure I saw those assets in the parmart clip and that carpark from the original The Day Before test clips that got everyone hyped and equally sceptical the last time this was before they're big trailer or their demo that came later but the earliest gameplay clip I saw i'm certain it was in a carpark identical to that one! I mean there is a chance it's coincidence or them just using similarly available assets but i'm not holding my breathe nor pre-ordering (my last one was the BG3 deluxe) I don't do that anymore, I'll see what people say about it a couple weeks after launch!

What if> the game is made with the help of AI (about 20% only story, some ai art, few ai 3d models, by a solo developer, it is in a early demo stage, free to play of course while in demo syage later it will be paid, single player only, it has only 1 of 27 maps in the demo, shows only glimpses of the story first 4 pages of the book and endless extraction shooter like gameplay, which is based on a book that is around 200 pages and the wolrdbuilding extra book around 150 pages Would that game be accepted well by the audience Asking for a friend: D

Its been proved to be fake- they actually ripped assets straight out of the gta 6 trailer- go compare the umbrellas. And Epic had already come forward and explained that they have NO record of this game OR the developer. So yes, its a fake. Id love to support a rival for GTA cause im tired of rockstars gta online cashgrab bs, however, I will not support a fake dev that has a messy history when confronted about their marketing- I reccomend looking up some of the drama around this, its pretty intense

It's amazing how much work was put into this. Even just what we are seeing here, no actual gameplay, just a shell. it takes a a long time, and some talent, to build out these environments. I'm not saying this is going to be a good game. I'm just blown away how some companies will put this much time and effort into something that clearly is going to suck hard.

Grand Theft Auto has soul amd character, for that reason you can go back and still play the older ones and tap into that feeling, also why GTA V (a seventh generation game) remained popular with all the biggest games of the last 10 years. Games like this have 0 soul and no personality. ultra realistic graphics are just hollow

I personally can’t get into GTA because, it’s too much like Smallville. Same exact show with a few new tidbits randomly tossed in, w/recycled challenges blended in with it to make it seem like it’s brand new when it’s just the same old thing. I’ll stick to RDR series & continue dreaming about an update or a part 3

I wish we could just relax and quit trying to rush games. The evs involved in Red Dead 2 already aired grievances in Red Dead 2 by making the description of one of the revolvers a story about how hard they worked and sacrificed to make that game. The company made a billion dollars. Not the employees

4: 55 if implemented properly I think this could be a industry changing feature. Algorithmic Learning or AI will get better over time if they have 100, 000 people interacting with the AI within no time realistic conversations and conversation replies would organically develop in the NPCs

I actually like the NPCs being A. I because I think right now, it may be bad. But later on, it can start feeling real and their voice may actually sound real-like. It can turn to be an actual good feature. I don't see many flaws in it

Honestly black myth wukong trailer doesnt look like something 100% too good to be true cuz a lot of smaller studio able to make hack and slash games. and there are no major red flags on wukong trailer aside the game visual for me

The dock gameplay looks barren and barely a game. Whatever they did for that it wasn't quality development, it was taking a few storebought assets and chucking them on a tarmac with a basic third person shooter demo.

I wonder if NPCs are gonna scream about their pronouns and if you’ll get extra star levels for taking a rocket launcher to an alphabet parade in this. I won’t trust it until I hear more after it comes out.

Rockstar Games better get their act right or else they are going to end up like Blizzard/Overwatch 2. A real competitor might pop up out of no where and dethrone them from the genre like Marvel Rivals.

Nah man, as soon as you started talking about it, literally from the first sentence, unknown game, unknown studio, I got BIG The Day Before vibes and things didn't get any better from there.

I am sick of Unreal 5 games already, the most overhyped game engine ever made, Unreal 3. 5 that Arkham Knight used was better imo, they all look like U5 games and it's a new engine fer fs.

I love the little guy as much as the next guy, but gta is always going to be king of gta purely due to resources and experience. Basically earned monopoly rights on a genre of game

As much as I want to see a fully AI powered game this ain't it. IMHO one of the requirements to make it work would be the ability to run everything locally instead of relying on servers.
