game cancellation - EA oh wouldnt have bought it anyway - they have the rights to, and have destroyed so many games and game companies. There are multiple games made by companies like Bullfrog and the garriots that if remade with modern tech would sell, but only if they kept the original vision of the game and didnt make it brainless mush for the masses.
new dinosaur game has to be careful, guns dinosaurs and survival, along with wildcard/snail games hitting financial rock bottom, theyre probably going to sue if they can, they did it to angela games for less similarities.
Tainted Grail Fall of Avalon, i already had 70 hours in the game from the 0. 7 and 0. 8/0. 9 versions, the game is miles better than in the early access was, people complain about the gfx, but this game is more challenging than oblivion remastered while at the same time not killing the my PC for no apparent reason (every other game will play at high to ultra settings, oblivion remaster hangs after about 2 minutes in game for no reason, no matter the settings. Ive tested cyberpunk on ultra with full raytracing and no problems, ) its a great game and doing the early access only gave minor spoilers for a few of the quests, from that point some of the quests have moved or changed or completely dissapeared

Hm, almost like stuck up ghetto blacks are incompetent and always have been, and are only in their current position out of a mix of frustration and pity and DEI, and if given a golden ticket and free check to follow your dreams, they'll spend all their time begging for more, making it all about them, crying and whining, all the whole completely ignorant about how to do whatever job they were handed and so we all end up just waiting for them to fail and maybe actually learn a life lesson this time.

Apples Game App is likely just to control how much they earn parasitically form games in their ecosystem. If they really wanted to promote gaming on their products they would just make there hardware compatible with accepted industry standard API's like Vulkan. Forcing everyone to adhere to yet another graphics API has done nothing but stunted their growth in that market. Apple can get a spoon and eat my a like a hot fudge sundae.

I’ve been with Apple since the Bondai Blue iMac and Apple Arcade killed Apple gaming. It’s a game platform for people who don’t play video games. This one doesn’t look like the strategy has changed.
They had the opportunity to build a games industry around their specific architecture but killed that one off with the App Store (which also killed its app side)

The interest in Marvel is at an all time low at this point. The movies are tanking left and right. A Marvel game is not necessarily a home run anymore. Hell, I'm a big fan of the MCU but even I skipped the last few movies in the theaters, because eveything has become stale and low effort. Just meh all around. Makes it hard to get excited for a game like that.

That thumbnail speaks volumes; like it shows how EA or majority of companies in the entertainment business for that matter views beloved & timeless franchises as nothing but expendable means for monetization.
In this case, EA probably didn't see a lot of microtransactions they can stuff in whatever that game is.

I read that EA execs were frustrated that since development started on Black Panther 4 years ago, the studio still hadn't left the pre production phase of development. Which, ya know, is kinda wild. But at the end of the day it was probably some executive's fault, and he or she still has a job.

My guess is EA wanted to make a live service Black Panther and finally realized that no one wants live service games. I'm sure EA could make a good Black Panther game, but that's not what EA does. EA releases low effort games (Madden, etc) and charges lots of microtransactions.

So now we have 3 Jurassic Park Survival games coming out soon The Lost Wild, Jurassic Park Survival, and now Ferocious Anyone else think that's dumb AF I was excited about The Lost Wild, then was told about JPS, and that seems way better. And now Ferocious. dumb. Dumb I Say!

1: 50 the rumor is the disney is jacking up the prices for its license like how the sony hack a couple years ago showed how a MASSIVE amount was SM 2 was just to License from Disney, I can totally see how EA walked away with the high License cost.

I assumed Vessi shoes would be $200 even after the GR discount. But $140 isn't horrible, and with 15%, that's about $120. More than I normally pay for shoes, but if they are more durable than my usual $50-60, that's not bad at all.

Hot take, publishers like EA will have dev teams half back ideas like this, just for the purpose of owning those ideas. Meaning those devs that got laid off can't now go make something that they might have been passionate about.

To be fair, Cliffhanger Games was a studio filled with racists, so there was nothing of value lost. Would be interesting to see what they even had and if the cancellation was due to unfinished work with no finishline in sight.

Can't imagine how terrible is for game devs to be adquired for a huge company like EA, spending years developing a game just for the company to decide is not worth it and shut down the entire studio

It appears that EA is still killing studios I just hope Respawn Entertainment isn’t on their blacklist like so many others including Looking Glass Studios, Viceral Games, Pandemic and many more.
