Tales of the Shire - It's a cozy life sim with the power of a recognizable fantasy IP behind it. That's literally the selling point. Cozy life sims got popular, so someone decided to cash in on the popularity by making a branded one featuring an recognizable IP, and in particular a part of said IP closely associated with that sort of lifestyle. TBH, I'm a bit dubious about it actually being particularly good. It sort of looks like it's coasting on the brand recognition. Looks like a glorified mobile game, if I'm being honest. Maybe it'll be good though. Hopefully it is.

Tbf with the Tales of the Shire, the amount of time in which there was no active war, before Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry leave and after the ring is found: it is 30 years in the books.
And this could even be after Bilbo gets the ring, which he had for 60 years, so plenty of time to live the cozy live I guess. I personally don't feel attracted to the game, but I see why it would be made, the life of a hobbit is the dream of many.

Just started playing robocop: rogue city and while I have some extremely minor, aesthetic only, complaints I have to say it’s a fantastic game. It’s so well paced with the action hitting the spot and the juxtaposition between being an unstoppable killing machine and mundane police admin/investigator work works really well considering how prolonged and intense the action scenes can be. A solid 9/10 so far.

I was stoked about Tale of the Shire when info first dropped.
Then it turned out to just be a shovelware mobile game thats being pushed to consoles.
A cozy hobbit game is definitely a good idea but it needs more. You have to be able to go out and explore the land, get lost in the old forest, get lucky and stumble upon Goldberry or even Tom himself.
Basically Fantasy Life I but in Tolkiens world.

The only one of these that I was excited for was Wuchang. And when you said it was a soulslike I let out a disappointed sigh. I love a good soulslike but man is the market a bit over saturated with them. I meannn I'm gonna play it, but I'm gonna be wishing it was a character based action game like DMC or Bayonetta the whole time

Wildgate is the first game from Moonshot a game studio created by Mike Morhaime and some other old school ex-Blizzard's employees.
It is a PvP FPS in space where your team of 4 have to destroy the 4 other ships or escape trough a portal, it will release on July 22.

The grounded 2 thing could be true, microsoft couldve been telling them how they wanted the game so oblivion broke off to do their own thing, as for the shire 1 you are completely ignoring what its supposed to be about, youre apparently supposed to be building a new town in the shire

Tales of the shire isnt what you think it is, you dont get to anything at all its boring. You farm a plot thats a small garden and its all about decorating thats it can only fish in 3 spots in the village too. They could have made the game great and you cant even cut a tree down.

Guys if you like that Ninja Gaiden footage I STRONGLY suggest STRIDER (new one, it has amazing graphics and the gameplay and story bosses are sublime. Amazing puzzles and combat, and immediately my comparison for any game of this kind.

Donkey Kong Bananza is the least impressive game on this list, it plays nothing like an old Donkey Kong, this is more like Super Mario Odysseey. And no, I don't care to destroy and dig like minecraft, I just want to smash some enemies.

Really looking forward to killing floor 3 i know it had its issues during the beta they have listened and i think they should get some thumbs up for what they have changed im quite excited but everyone has their opinion

Hobbit game is not my style, but they were relatively peaceful for a couple thousand years there (there was that winter the rivers froze and wolves from the north attacked and of course lord of the rings time.

When they release the new robocop game i hope it comes with a substantial patch fix for the og rogue city. That game was amazing when it worked but when it didnt fml it was a buggy as mofo and unfinishable.

Fun fact about Total Chaos: it was origionally a Doom 2 mod that used a specific version to add high fidelity imaged and 3d objects. Pyrocynical did a video on it ages ago. This new version looks incredible!

Falcon’s surprise that Tales of the Shire got made is baffling - LOTR is one of the largest franchises in existence, I’m shocked it took this long for such a game to be made.

EA CFB 25 was SO BAD. I won’t get it until I know they fixed the ridiculous number of issues that game had. But it’s the only college football sim game, so it will sell.
