Black Myth: Wukong looks EPIC. Cant wait.
Lies of P looks super intriguing. Love the premise.
SHOWA: American Story looks so rad. Now thats a cool original idea. Looking forward to that one. Same with Project EVE.
Forspoken is going to be trash. but possibly fun trash. Its another AAA dumpster fire thats been delayed a bunch of times and probably will be super cringe, BUT the combat might be interesting. I have low expectations for Forspoken but im going to check it out.
Flintlock looks like a typical Microsoft project that gets delayed until it gets cancelled. or at best, mercifully gets released randomly to no fanfare because its garbage. It looks like someone said -- no ideas again? Well what are you guys playing these days. Im playing Bloodborne. Im playing Final Fantasy ---. what if we mix Bloodborne WITH Final Fantasy. that sounds cool, but its too asian and white, it has to have a black main character. oh, of course. I can smell its wokeness from here. Pass.
Everything on this list has potential. well, id exclude Flintlock which i think looks stale and banal. but everything else.
What a great video. Great job putting this one together. It was an excellent idea to spotlight these lesser known new IPs.

I want more goddamn sci-fi RPGs/ARPGs! The only fantasy themed thing in the works I care about is Dragon's Dogma 2. I'd be willing to give some attention to a fantasy game that was set on a post-apocalyptic Earth (like the old Shannara novels, or think like Horizon with magic for a game reference. I think that's a really interesting sub-genre and I can't for the life of me figure out why no games have ever done anything in that space.
There was this really interesting MMORPG in the works back in the mid-00s, I think it was called Imperator, that was sci-fi but based in a universe where the Roman Empire never collapsed. It died in development, but why can't we get interesting things like that instead of all fantasy all the time? I'm so bored of fantasy. It's only the rare exceptional games like Elden Ring that can really hook me.
All that said (or venting done, nice list. Definitely some interesting stuff on there, Project Eve and Black Myth: Wukong look really interesting to me. Showa American Story is a totally new one to me, but it's certainly sparked my interest.

Hell of a list! I am looking forward to Showa American Story, Awakener, Project Eve, Wukong, Lies of P and possibly Forspoken. I am pleasantly surprised there are that many! In particular, Showa American Story for its weirdness and Project Eve and Wukong, because they look out of this world. Awakener and Lies of P maybe a little less so, but both still look great. Jury is out for me on Forspoken which looks great, but voice acting and dialog of the main character I am not sold on yet. If I can't create my own character, I need to like the lead, and the latest trailer in particular has me hesitant because I am not sure I could take that voice acting and writing style for a whole game. We'll see.

I have a feeling that anything 'new' that I could suggest has already been done. -_-
A (j)RPG where we can play as non-humans (ie robots, aliens, enchanted beings with detachable limbs and/or other odd anatomy/alterations? I'm sure that there's a roguelike out there.
A love letter to (classic and modern) animation and other media? Saturday Morning RPG might have that covered.
Plus, for all we know, programs like Adventure Game Toolkit or Tileworld could have been used to create something (slightly) more original.
Perhaps, one day, we can explore new (more twisted) Wonderlands with other characters besides 'Alice'. _

Honestly, i don t really see anything new i all i see is seemingly another copy form style from final fantasy, dark souls and Bayonetta. And i ain t into all of that. the only really somewhat interesting game was wukong. that game seems to have more unique style to it than the others that look like they are trying to be something else while trying to add there style that i haven t seen before. it s like when everyone copied the far cry open world formula for a bit, you just feel like to much similar shit that doesn t really stand out on its own. Still, will be good to get some new titles and IPs out here

Graphics does make the game and so does gameplay. They are all equally important. What matters is the balance. Saying Graphics don't matter is very foolish because graphics can tell a stories about the world without using words. There's an old saying Picture worth a thousand words.

Black myth: Wukong looks amazing. It s just when everyone says it s like a souls game I worry it s gonna be as difficult as those games, and I m not a fan of the souls games because of the difficulty. So if they tune down the difficulty this will be an amazing game.

That's
I m not going to lie. All the photogrammetry fueled realism in foliage and material textures is starting to make everything blend together. I m not impressed by the new render engine checklists anymore and hope to see some more personality shine through.

I think another rpg to keep on your watch list is Sea of Stars. Made by the developers of The Messenger, and love song to old school turn based rpgs (chrono trigger, etc)
As always, great video! I will be purchasing most if not all of these games lol

unlike anything we've ever seen - basically just like anything we ve been seeing in the last few years. Generic Action rpgs hope those can be great games coz I love RPGs but those games are just like anything else in the genre recently. Good video tho

Pixel Noir looks like it is doing something genuinely different. Since I hate turn based games I won't play it but at least it is trying something genuinely new unlike most of the ones on this list that are the same just a new coat of paint or setting

Flintlock literally has black and women in it, no chance normal people would play it at any case, plus it's from Ashen devs, so it will be flop 100%. But hey, Wukong, Project EVE, Lost Soul, Mercyful Flames and Forspoken looks pretty good for me.
