They claimed that the delayed release is because of poor sales on PC and piracy. However, they never give the game a fair chance because it’s released on PC when the story has been spoiled and the hype is gone. They sabotage the release by offering poor pricing and using misleading market data to show trends that can be dismissed because Rockstar doesn’t see the writing on the wall. This could be due to Choice (money from Microsoft and Sony) or their genuine belief that it will underperform if released on the first day. They have the resources to hire a team to make the port, and it’s not something that the people in the industry can’t do.

I appreciate the leaps and bounds gaming has come but what is the goal Like how many FPS do humans move in real life Will we eventually get to a point that our eyes can't process it Just curious. Don't crucify me.

Sounds like bs, buy if its true then could be a few reasons its even faster then RDR2:
The consoles are pretty much pc's anyways so eSier and faster to make a pc version, and most gamers are on pc nowadays anyways and realized they need the pc port ASAP, especially if none or not many pc players go out if there way to buy a console just to play 1 gane right away

Am I the only person who is NOT impatient for the release of GTA 6 This is not to dunk on the game or Rockstar, I absolutley DO want to play it, but tbh, if they delayed it another year, it wouldn't matter to me. I don't want it to be delayed of course, but I am of the mind that when it's done, it's done. I have confidence that when it releases it will be buggy, but great.

Feb 2027 would be toon soon it wont happen that soon game is on console in end of 2026 and shortest time they have done pc release is liek 6 to 12 months after so u looking at soonest around june 2027 they want to maximise money intake form console much as possible and lower risk of hackers and modders before they blow out the pc version for even more money and maximise profits

Feb 2027 seems pretty soon. That would be just 3 month. RDR2 was over a year, GTA V over 1. 5 years.
I can't imagine that 3 months would convince many PC gamers to buy a console or owners of both to replay it on PC (at least not close to launch.
If it's just 3 month than I imagine it's mostly about getting some dedicated time to polish the PC version.

Can you plz ask pearl abyss what's their work ethic Like to they work 5 days a weekmy reason being if they work 5 days a week imagine what other companies do after they release a game cause it takes like 3-5 months before we get a week a update. While PC releases for Rockstar games have been 12-18 months after console, I wonder if Rockstar will move it up given the Witcher 4 will likely release in late 2027 or early 2028. How does Rockstar think a GTA6 release on PC will compete Do they care This will be interesting to say the least.

i watched this show without missing an episode for almost a decade but after the skill ups this week in video games started to air on same day i started avoiding this show as there is no point in watching 2 different videos of almost same content, i wish one of them changes their airing date

I'm suspecting a PC release of GTA 6 of about 1-2 years after release of the console version. Maybe even 3 years. As for which PC launcher. hard to say. EGS and Rockstar Launchers seem like the first to likely get it. Steam might be 6-9 months after. Just based off what happened with GTA5

lets be honest we all are going to be that Danish guy in a few years with how PC hardware pricing and availability is going. right now im playing Arc Raiders with my buddy, Raccoin, and going through my backlog just started playing the Prey reboot and its been fun

The PS5 Pro update for Cyberpunk is absolutely insane. Complete and total game changer, and I just started a brand new character because of it. I haven’t played the game since I beat it at launch, and the improvements are completely blowing my mind.

It's going to be a live service, and GTA is their primary focus now in addition to maximizing shark card sales, so I expect the PC release to be very soon after console. It's not like all prior GTA. Diff industry, diff company, diff leaders.

It's a strategy, they release it later for PC because they know people will not be able to wait and will buy it for a console. and know eventually that person who bought it on console will buy it on PC. double sales. Rockstar isn't dumb lol

Nah it's not when they want to it's because they know GTA players that own PCS are going to double dip and get the biggest Edition both times that's why they don't release them at the same time it's for money nothing else

PC release dates will be based on sales data form console. If console is overwhelming good as far as sales go then PC will be later on, if it's lower than expected then PC will be used to bump sales and share prices.

Samson had a patch on day2 that fixed a massive amount of jank, bugs, graphical glitches, etc. It runs smooth on my PC right now, STRONGLY recommend VRR if your build supports it. I'm personally enjoying it.
