When WW and Sub-Zero both accused each other of being the invaders. this is the ONLY time ever between two characters from opposing sides where they accuse each other directly about the whole thing. That should show there is a misunderstanding going on but NOOOOO for some reason after this scene it's never brought up or thought about again.
