I finally got a PS5 and I've started playing this and found some plot holes with the dad's story. The name of the first stage is Reseda High School and Rivers' dad talks about going to school with John Connor which tells me that they were in school together around the time of T2. The problem with that is that John is ten years old in T2 and doesn't seem like the kind of student who would get that kind of advanced placement. Ten years old is third, fourth, or fifth grade, maybe sixth in some cases. Regardless, not high school age. Also, look at how old the dad is 2012. If he was 10-12 years old, or even 14 or 15, around 1995 when T2 takes place, that would put him in his late 20s to early 30s and he looks like he could pass for mid 40s or older. I get that they're living in the aftermath of a nuclear apocalypse controlled by a hostile AI that's out to kill everyone but nobody else looks like Father Time took a bat to them like that. Baron, Jennifer, Reese, Ferro, and Evans could all be assumed to be in their late 20s to early 30s in the main story and they don't look 45.

terminator games (at least for me) have a real problem between balacing it, as a game, and reproducing the dangers those machines have to pose. one would expect them, to have perfect aim, hear footsteps over a quarter mile and react instantly. yet, if that was the game, we as the player would have no chance. in order to make the game playable, you have to tone the terminators down so much, that you start to ask, how they could have come so far, if one guy with a plasma rifle, can destroy 6 t600 within a minute without a problem. you eighter have to break the immersion and the -realism- or have a player, that feels like hes playing against an aimbotting wallhacking cheater. and the compromise, muddies both waters. thats why terminator, as a game, has that balacing problem

Anyone ever consider this: Conventional ballistic firearms are next to useless against terminators (particularly the T-800s and beyond) as well as well as Skynet's more fearsome war machines. You pretty much need plasma weapons or high explosives to deal with them. Bullets work just fine against squishy humans however.
So basically, if Skynet had created its T-800s and HKs and the like, but had NOT created plasma weapons which the Resistance captured and reverse engineered, humanity would have been pretty much screwed lacking in any effective weapons against the machines.
I've also always wondered why Skynet never tried bio-engineering some sort of super virus or disease that could effectively wipe out humanity while naturally leaving the machines unaffected.

Funny. at first i was guessing if there will be a twist at the end like Evans turning out to be an infiltrator at the end with him asking to meet Connor, being rough around the edges and all. Along with the one terminator mimicking a girls voice, the cutscene with Reece and Farrow fighting an HK tank straight out of T2 movie, the note and just the connections you make with the caracters. credit to the writers and how they also managed to squeeze all than in between the original story.

Love this game and dlc but someone needs to explain how John was able to plan everything out for Frank to go back to his school to dig up the time capsule, keep an unopened letter that-s not meant for him and agree to not open it, live long enough to hand it to its recipient, just so Reese can have a picture of Sarah? How could he possibly have planned/known all of that would happen and set it in motion? Why didn-t John just keep it and hand it to Reese himself?

Watching this to see the story line, but I have to say, no offense, watching this makes me cringe lol. No caution approaching combat, no checking for enemies around corners and just standing there being hit while in fire fights instead of dodging and weaving from cover to cover. Wouldn't you want to approach combat like a real resistance soldier with a little caution and tactical stealth? Just my opinion lol

Just finished the meh main campaign and lackluster infiltrator mode. I hope this one's good atleast. Will start tonight. I bought the game and DLCs for 13 dollars and I think it's an OK game for 13 bucks. But I don't think it's worth full price cuz of how outdated it feels when playing.

Starting the game off having to run from a Terminator ship playing a kid with my name made it VERY easy to empathize and really get immersed. Heart was pounding the whole time and in my head I kept going -I stg if I die right now- as if I was actually in the game lol

I think Ferro might have overreacted a bit here. If Evans was a terminator, he would have smoked them right there. He could have claimed he was the last survivor of another mission and could likely have gotten close to Connor himself.

The face of Evans and model 102 is the same model that attacked the resistance shelter in T1. Its a face of Franco Columbo, Arnolds best pal from pumping iron times. Its also the same terminator tah you play in Infiltrator mode.

As far as I'm concerned, this is all canom. There's T1, T2, TSCC, and this game. That's it. Its a damn shame 15 people im Poland can deliver us the T3 we've been asking for, for the last 35 years, but Hollyweird cant.

When the drones armor door closes, don't keep shooting. Wait till it opens then blow it away easily. It will shoot blind and won't hit you when shield door is closed
