Alright, so Seido is destroyed because of Rain and Havik. There should be few surviving Seidan Guardsman and Hotaru that should be after them, seeking revenge/justice. Which is why Hotaru would be perfect for DLC in the future. I know Ed Boon said -Notaru- but that's Ed Boon. You can't take everything he says seriously because he trolls. If im not mistaken, but didn't he say no to Alien and it was still added?

They ruined Havik's character imo. In MK Deception, he was a religious fanatic who worshiped chaos because he thought it was inherently beautiful. There was something Nietzchean and heroic in that, in the sense of -those who were seen dancing were thought insane by those who could not hear the music. - It's sad to see that in this game, they reduced him to a petulant teenager. Havik the SJW? Ugh
reply

Funny that some people think Havik 'makes sense' even though the actual solution he seeks is 'genocide then do whatever you want'. It's the same people that fall for influencers online that talk about ridiculous social reform ideas but include buzzwords and emotional manipulation then suddenly what they're saying makes sense to people.

In the older games Havik and the chaos realm residents worshipped water because of its inherently chaotic and free flowing nature. That seems to be reflected in this game with his partnership with Rain and his flood and his -Water must flow freely, Sub-Zero- line. It's a good touch and smart way to integrate that aspect of his character.

I love Reiko voice here. -I am well aware, Havik-. What does he mean? Why does he sounds like he-s tired or maybe even understanding?
I want more content between these two. Their dynamic is surprisingly interesting.
And also Reiko and Havik were fun in MKX comics, but that was Havik-Havik, not Havik-Dairrou.

reply

This is not the real Havik. This is Dairou embracing Havik's chaotic nature. The true Havik is a cleric of Chaos, not a mere angry anarchist. He preached and unleashed pure chaos to anywhere. It's like if you build a sand castle, he'll destroy it in the name of chaos not only because he hates order.

These moments really say a lot about Havik (Dairou)-s character. Though I do miss the 3d era Havik, I really don-t mind this new version.

Dairou-s scars must be the consequence of a petty crime either committed by him or someone else.

reply

Seeing so many of the 3D era kombatants again being playable makes me so happy and I certainly hope we get more done the road as DLC. Main roster, Kameo Fighter, whatever. Kai, Hotaru, Taven, Tasia, Drahmin, Jatakka, Kobra, etc.
reply

I uh. I think Havik is speaking a lot of sense in these exchanges.
First Erron Black having the most sensible ending in MK11 and now Havik making the most sense in MK1. Plus I'm really happy to see Havik return.

reply

14: 56 YO Hotarru is name dropped. Lets hope NeatherRealm will follow through in giving us a return of his character as playable in the main roster it would be cool to see his character revitalized for this game
reply

i love the fact that they combined orderrealm and chaosrealm. but i do want hotaru to appear. kinda dissapointed he wasn't even mentioned here. man was one of the more interesting 3D era characters lookswise
reply

These realms- rulers/leaders keep trying to stay high and mighty when speaking to Havik, I-d just say -You-re not an anarchist, you just don-t want ANYONE in charge unless it-s YOU. -
reply

Havik struggles with order and chaos
The story of an Anarchist life
-MY WOUNDS ARE A BADGE OF HONOR- BARS -, also. its much more dope knowing he sounds just like Broly

I really like this parallel. Baraka seeks a cure or a peaceful resolution while Havik seeks a forceful resolution. It's interesting to see the two interact.

reply

It-s unlikely of his character
i thought shang tsung would be impressed by havik for flooding seido
and its also weird. isn-t shang tsung supposed to be evil.

reply

Its nice to know others agree that Seido is wrong, but hes going about it wrong too.
Poor Havik, if only they had helped sooner, Dairou wouldnt have changed.

reply

-occupation is also oppression, EarthRealmer! -
Damn Havik, I knew You were all anti-government, but I never thought you for a bum-ass ngguh broski.

reply

Havik has several points, its just that mortals dont know how to live without order and structure, its always leads to violence and destruction
reply

2: 15 I don't really know why, but I just kinda like the way the two lines rhyme with each other. .You think that was intentional?
reply

2: 40 Reiko: -An effective army needs structure and discipline. -
2: 44 Havik: -It needs fighters willing to die for freedom. -

reply

He is such an hipocrite like The Riddler from 2022
Like most anarchists or anti-fascists in our times
I love the nuance

reply

Monster characters from past mk games giving Havik a lesson in moral and ideal standards. Strange time line i live in.
reply

as cool as his new design is i do kinda wish his lower facial area was down to the bone like in the old games
reply

Lamp after watching this havik is now one of my favorite characters. His dialogue is just uncompromising
reply

Did geras sent to chaosrealm & meet havik in mk11 aftermath? Why they didn't mention that in the intros?
