so im from this lil country where a DSLR is kinda like a luxury. Finally I have the money to buy one: )
I just need help with a good camera. since this is a one shot opportunity I need to seal the deal with a good camera and essential lenses for videos and photography my budget is around $700 but if i can get sumthing good for a cheaper price it would be AWESOME any suggestions please anybody!

It'll either be Friday, November 2nd, or the following week if Hurricane Sandy knocks my power out all week. Which is what I'm being told may happen!
As far as the forums go, I'm not sure, I don't have any direct control over the site and I don't know if Griffin does either. I know he was trying to find out when they first went down, but I don't know for sure if he got an answer from anyone as to what was going on. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!

You should check out the GH2 or the T2i or T3i, all of these Cameras are about $700 with a kit lens. If you just buy the body only you can probaly spend the rest of what you have on a nice 50mm lens. Try to get one with an F 1. 8 that is pretty fast and it should help you get going.

I'm not sure, but I upgraded to Mediafire Pro (or whatever their premium service was called) just in case that was an issue. I'll be able to let you know after this whole experience is done!

Unfortunately, it's the highest quality bitrate available, but I reexported it to mp4 at a high enough bitrate myself and it came out looking pretty much the same.
