I get this game free on GOG which is a Classic Complete edition. When I started playing it, I didn't see the Health, Armor, Inventory, Key Weapon and Ammo stats during in game like the Shadow Warrior version in this video. Without these stats that I mentioned, I wouldn't know what Inventory that I has, what key, how much ammo that I used for killing an enemy and I wouldn't know how many percentage of Health & Armor I lost after been attack by enemy.
Anybody know how to settle this issue for enable the Health, Ammo and Weapon stats on the SW Classic Complete edition? They aren't even available in its game settings.

Lol he called it -outdated- just because the game used sprites but offered more variety in gameplay than Quake which was too simplistic. Also, of all the complaints towards SW, lol, the platform? (I don't remember any level that abused this, apart from the Zumo Temple. i guess) the puzzles are atrocious and he said they were -ok-, lol, he says that the bosses are disappointing but he doesn't give a reason why or anything, he says that the game is very meh, but it does not give any critical negative aspect apart from the -platform- it was notice that he was very amateur in his reviews, at that time.

this game always felt a bit claustrophobic compared to something like doom. there's just something that makes navigating the levels take more effort than you'd expect. especially in some of the later levels with extremely out of the way keys that are basically secrets. feels like it can be hard to get a nice flow/rhythm going to me

You go whole review no talking about guardian head third mode or that Lo Wang had schticky bomb first! Ugh, Lo Wang gonna go vomit now.
Also, you absolutely NEED to play Wanton Destruction, it's really really good. In my opinion, it has better levels than all of the other SW levels from all sources combined.

I remember playing this as a kid and really enjoying it. My father bought it for my older brother but he was more into sports game and I ending up playing it most. The ghost that would come to hunt you after you kill the box carrying guy used to scare me lol

Late to the game with this comment. I played this game first on a PC Gamer demo disc. I didn't really have a great computer, so I couldn't play newer games. I freaking LOVED this game! Just as much as Duke 3D. The new ones are pretty great as well.

What's really funny is that Duke Nukem was the frontrunner of 3D Realms' properties in the 90s, and Shadow Warrior was a footnote. Now, Duke is languishing, and Shadow Warrior has two amazing modern games out. Fingers crossed for _Shadow Warrior 3. _

if you don't have the attention span for older video games (like me) then there's three new Shadow Warrior games that are awesome as well. released from 2013 onwards. Watching the reviews of older titles never gets old though.

To be honest: I prefer shadow warrior to Duke Nukem! Everybody loves DN3D - but Shadow Warrior was just overhelming. remember the volcano stage at the end? Dammit. I still dream of that stage. 20years later haha

I spent way too much time playing this game as a kid. Between this and Duke 3D I prefer Shadow Warrior by a hair. I've finally got around to playing the remake. and while it's not great it's a good game in it's own right.
