Just having fun going through random floppies on the IBM PC. Unscripted, raw footage to show the programs and give first impressions. I show several of the Keypunch Software compilations, including the following games: Par-4 Golf Quarterback Crunch Archery

There was also a Basketball text-adventure for the C64.
It's on Lemon64.
The game is called -Basketball: The Game of all Games-.
There was also a Tetris text-adventure, I ask me if phreakindee has heared of either of those 2 games. :P

-xxxDavidMaysxxx No, it's named after Van Halen's home studio, a Cali police term for a mentally disturbed person. 5150 for IBM was just a continuation of their 5xxx line of computers, I doubt there's any relation. Except that both are complete BAMFs

LOL, I'm so glad I had a C64 back then. Of all the 80s home computers the IBM PC was the worst, and most expensive. It just amazes how the platform survived at all. Oh well I guess it goes show that good marketing is better than a good product.

You actually had (or No Good had) an excellent start to the football game. A 55+ yard return from a kick-off is outstanding. .but you punted on second down.
The football game looks kind of good to be honest.

I actually bought quite a few a few of these boxed white label Keypunch games in the early to mid 90's when they were being sold at Everythings $1. I don't think any I have are as bad as this compilation.
reply

I think I've showed all of them I currently have in this Keypunch series. I've seen more out there on eBay and such, but get outbid at the last minute. Odd that there is even a demand for them.

-FSXdeathplane I'm actually very much American, born and raised in North Carolina! I have lived out of the country for a time though, and just have an international mindset I guess.

I miss the Echo Off thing.
Why the hell do games not have that any more!
The game I am making I should put that on the startup. xD

So there's Golf, Football and Archery. And the title screen shows neither a golf club, football or bow & arrow! GENIUS! I HATE!
reply

Sometimes I miss these old games. well maybe not these old games.
Ya labeled this as Part 3, though I think this maybe Part 4 though.
