You have to play it right. The controls sucks if you don't understand how to use them. I actually own this game and have to say its something unique I am playing after long time. I could whine about the music a little and lack of help messages. Not the English per se because the journal pages looks like they were written a decade ago. Btw there are 20 levels in this game and i think you scratch 5 of them. Nice review and unique looking game. Thumbs up to both.
And yes we need new content.

If we are still on the same subject, I would like to inform everyone here that in the recent update to stained, 'the heir to the throne' is now pronounced as 'air to the throne'; ) Also there is a way to configure the controls and messages are updated with better english: ) thanks for the review LGR it was really fun watching you playing the game.

Giana might be interesting, but its unfortunate I don't like what they did with the music. Original game especially on the C64 had an incredible title screen tune.

Many of the same tunes (notably the title screen) are in the new one as well, just re-arranged in the style of this game. But I do miss the SID chip variation.

The game looks unique but since it's on Desura, and it has it's quirks, I will wait till the game gets in an Indie Royale bundle or not bother at all.
