Looks to me like they lifted those buildings in New York from Google Earth's 3D Flyover View, which was created by Google scanning the city with a couple of high-powered cameras while flying over it in a helicopter from different vantage points. Same modeling technique, same textures, same appearance. It wouldn't surprise me if they did, since it seems they did such a poor job with everything else, they probably plagiarized the buildings because they seem to be the most high-quality part of the game (besides the textures and weird webbed appearance, and do not match the rest of the art style (or complete lack thereof. Of course, Google's 3D model of Lower Manhattan may have been updated since then.

Well watching the video of this gameplay before going to bed has just about done the trick, as I was sitting nodding off in my seat with how thrilling it all looked with everything going on. haha! Although it is pretty late here and long past being a normal 'bed time', so that might also be a reason for falling asleep when watching this: P What the freaking hell were those loud pitched noise filled sound effects supposed to be though! That was almost enough to wake me up again for another hour or so D: It would make nails on a chalkboard seem like a pleasant/relaxing sound in comparison to the screech of sounds coming from this game! xD

I remember playing this game when it came out. I really enjoyed playing it for the most part. But it does take too long to build each tower, and a problem I used to have was the game crashing after you started -progressing- in the game. This involved a lot of game play. I found out that it was also linked to a certain machine, such as a dumper, or crane, and if you used it, it would crash the game ay some point. just make sure you sell off and lay off your equipment and staff before the tower finishes, otherwise you will struggle to build another one. So many bugs in the game, which never got resolved.

Well back than I bought this pile of crap. I have to say, it was quite enjoyable, if you ignored the constant crashes. I only played it for a couple of hours and was quite disappointed, about the terrible state it was delivered. I think I was not able to play longer than 30 min without crashing.
At least I bought SC4 the same day, a whole other level of enjoyment. Bad thing I sucked terribly in SC4 back then.

It is sad to think that there were actual human beings behind this game/torture. and they actually had the audacity to try and charge you for the displeasure of playing/suffering through it. If someone were to give me the choice to either play this game for a day or pay the selling price to not play, I'd pay to not play. For shame.

2: 16 The buildings look like. Google. Earth buildings (or the new Google Maps with Earth enabled. but the buildings there look BETTER; It's like this person used 3D Ripper DX or something to capture everything to put in the -game- but the models weren't finished downloading, resulting in this UGLY building appearance.

They missed a huge part of the Foundation process. driving piles. If you just throw a bunch of concrete without any other kind of suport, depending on the soil type. nothing is stopping the soil from moving around and craking up the Foundation. I worked five years as a pile driver in Washington d. c.

I wanted to say, I've been in agonizing pain the last few days. Hands down the worst I've ever felt in my life. And watching these is helping to take my mind off of it very nicely. Which seems to be about the only thing I can do for it. Thanks for making these.
