About 12: 49. Fate Of Atlantis is one of the best adventure games I've ever had the pleasure of playing! Intriguing, smart, very VERY funny (yes, L-O-L-funny, at least when I last played it, somewhat ahead of it's time (like some other LA games) in different design perspectives, totally awesome intro, nice music, wildly varying scenery and adventure puzzling, many many references, an awesome climax, choices between action and puzzle driven. This game has it all in the LA p&c adventure game universe. The romcom-like interplay between the two main protagonists never gets old either. Wow, now that was a game.

Looking back on this video again after a long time I have a question. When I see american videos I notice boxes (game cases) are always huge and that ps1 titles come in thin cd cases and sometimes have external cardboard boxes.
I was wondering why this is so as in the uk it wasn't really something that happened. Older pc titles often had a box, but nothing really as big, I have a few commodore titles in larger boxes but nothing bulky.

Oh hey, those demo discs 14: 00, back when I was a kid I got a badass -demo- disc from PC Gamer during a subscription I had where they gave us 12 full games for free, well that's pretty sweet BUT ONE of them was Duke Nukem 3D with the Build engine - it was my first taste of Duke and I made several maps and played through every level I could (on easy mode cause I sucked. Man what I wouldn't do to get that demo disc again!

I have very fond memories of playing Backyard Baseball, Put-Put Travels through Time, and Pajama Sam. Plus, I had the most excellent privilege of meeting one of the artists behind those games. I was very surprised at him being my animation teacher and all, but I wish I had those games for him to sign his autograph. Man, I have regrets, but a very awesome experience nonetheless.

Holy Hell, Silent Thunder. I remember playing that game so long ago. I think I lost my old copy though. It was so interesting to figure out and beat. I even tried playing it on a joystick I got from a yard sale. I don't know where that joystick is, but I think it's still around. I can't use it on a modern computer though. I need a converter port since it's too wide.

Terminator Future Shock was awesome! And buggy. It ran like shite on my 486 50hz, but ran buttery smooth on a 90hz PC.
It also had a cool keyboard mapping. A was forward, Z backward, X right and left shift was left. I got so used to it I played all my 90s FPS games with that keyboard mapping. :)

I always look forward to your videos!
I have to ask. Are you married? Because if my wife saw boxes like that come to the house she would freak out. I was wondering how you might deal with that situation.
Keep up the awesome work!

Greetings from Peru! I always enjoy your reviews. They are awesome. I think you're very good at putting videos together. Always fun, never loud or annoying. Anyway, great job and thanks for sharing your videos.

Wait wait wait. Dragonriders of Pern for the C64? Shit, I didn't know any games whatsoever were made based on that series. I gotta look into that now. Even if it's just a text adventure, should be interesting.

Wish I could send something at some point, I go to thrift stores a lot and find really cool stuff that I don't always want myself. You should make a wish list or something so we know what you want! :)
