Not sure if anyone commented on this already, but I noticed in this episode and another you mentioned wondering about how media from Europe ends up at Goodwill, etc. Being I am retired military, my guess would be from US military who were stationed over there. I bought a lot of software locally myself when I was stationed in Greece as it was pre e-commerce back then.

So I actually learned something the other day about Goodwill's, talking to my local managers and what not, turns out most Goodwill's send all their computers and gaming. stuff to a handful of specific stores in the region. Perhaps your local Goodwill's are actually the locations in which they pool these things. Lucky!

The Indian Jones PC game was my favorite find this time around.
By the way, you should have gone to that store with the Bernie Sign, took half their stuff and when they try to stop you, just tell them that you don't have it yet, so you're taking it, because they support socialism. Haha.

Hey at least those Goodwills have clothes. The one i always went to before i moved literally looked like one of those dirty clothes bags people take with them on trips threw up all over the inside. Never found a single good thing there. Only moldy clothes and decaying childrens toys.

I need to visit more of the Goodwill stores in my area to see how they stack up against Clint's. The one nearest to me, from what few times I've visited, is kinda. eh. Not as dull as the ones on the beach, but not super exciting as his.

This is a really good example that if you find an area where everyone is stuck inside playing video games, that goodwill will be the best goodwill for video games. Goodwills in a beach town where everyone is outside on the beach? nope! lol

I wish we had proper thrift stores here, we mostly have tiny privately run ones, and they are -all- ceramics and furniture. Same with swap meets and markets. People pretty much only sell ceramic bowls and plates. Welcome to Norway.

Yeah the GoodWills around here are silly as you have shown, but sometimes I do get a few good things. Funny enough I get almost all my DVDs and CDs from the one you went to with the fancy ties lol.

Yup just like my goodwills. Clothes, clothes, clothes, oh and 3 VCR-s, as well as somebody-s ps2 collection of sports games that I-ve been slowly picking at. Also skis. Skis are cool. I guess
