LGR Plays - Solitaire on Windows 3. 1 Joe: If anyone wants to play a version of this that will work directly in 64 bit windows. I have the solitaire version I copied from a virtual windows 2000 Pro. Windows 2000 was 100% 32 bit, so all it's programs had to be 32 bit, as such even the included versions of windows games were 32 bit. I only copied solitaire, if you want any of the others you are on your own.
Also note there is at least 1 major difference between the old 16 bit one for the older windows (3. 1 through ME) and the one in windows 2000, that is you can right-click ALL MATCHING CARDS to where you stack the aces. This can actually cause trouble as it still only gives you ONE undo, and if in the process of throwing cards up there it steals some from your playing hand, you can not go back and undo it, unless it was the last move it made.
The only 2 files you need to play the win2k solitaire are the sol. exe, and cards. dll. Be sure to keep them in the same folder, you do NOT have to place the dll in a windows directory or anything.
But yeah other than that everything looks the same, the same card deck backs, the same options, everything. I sometimes go back to playing it when I get bored.

LGR how do you record your videos theres a few pieces of hardware i want to showcase at some point and i tried in the past and i dont like it lol. Prolly cause of my phone camera and the fact i still am uncomfortable with my own voice on camera haha. Do you go free lance a few times and edit? Also loving the 3. 1 video what system did you record this on this time XD.

UGH! That was excruciating. I was literally saying aloud, -Move the 9! - and trying to move it with my own mouse. There's something wrong with me. Dude, you're like those sim games you love, somehow the more mundane the thing is that you are doing, the more enthralling it is. Awesome dude.

when i was a kid i like to watch those cards bounce and hoping that the trails would covered up all the green background especially the upper right corner which is very difficult to pull of. that the only reason i would play solitaire for hours on end until my parents pull the plug out.

I think I have a problem. I've become so addicted to this game (despite all the other, far more impressive ones that I have on my PC) that I actually see cards being moved around and arranged in alternating rows of Red and Black suits from King to Ace in my sleep. Help me!

Mmm yes, I needed a solid solitaire walkthrough, I was getting stuck after you put the 4 of Hearts up on the foundation. When I was younger I used to call it bomp bomp cards as I didn't know what it was called as the cards go bomp bomp when you win.

I think that this is the best Windows solitaire, I played this really much when I was a child. I didn't like the Windows 7 solitaire and I have read that Windows 10 Solitaire will be full of ads and pay-to-win crap.

I still play Solitaire every now and then. On our first computer, it took the winning animation a solid 5-6 minutes to complete. The sad thing is, sometimes I'd sit there the whole time and watch it.

My dad and his co-worker were competing on who could beat the game in the shortest time. They stopped when the co-worker beat my dad's record of 17 seconds with a pretty fast 14 secs!

If we're nutty enough to watch you wander from Goodwill to Goodwill buying games then we're silly enough to watch you play solitare.
Or it's simply the voice.
.
No homo.
