Join me as I go out thrifting, in search of games and interesting goodies at various discount shops! Lots of Goodwills, Salvation Army, and a Roses discount store this time

God, do I wish my Goodwill actually had this kind of variety, and not just ceramics, shoes without pairs, stuffed animals, and practically every damn Madden game released.
Most interesting things I've seen there are maybe a Nerf blaster, a Casio printing calculator, and just recently a bag full of cards from the likes of Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Star Wars, Dragon Ball Z, Tragic the Gathering, and that sort.
The bag was actually pretty worth it since it was full of shadowless, and rare Pokemon cards out the wazoo, and even a relic of a find, a Pokemon Snap Blockbuster card for those picture kiosks they had back when the game was new.

OK wait Clint I am 47 and we used a reel to reel tape drive to save and load programs (sorry youngans back in my day they were called programs and not apps) on our Commodore Vic-20 so by the time you where old enough to do your shows cassettes were abundant and cheap so why use a reel to reel that is a royal pain in the dick hole to use? Second you don't check the condition of game disks when you buy them? I would imagine that not only can you comment on the condition but you would know if it is worth buying or not. Anyway great video.

I wish we had thrift stores like that here in Australia. There's only a couple of stores within a 30min drive and they only sell clothes. Apparently the liability is too high if they sell electronic equipment in case someone electrocutes themselves and then blames the thrift store, and they can't afford to get everything checked for electrical safety: -(

I also don't know why stores don't remove the disks from the cases and you pick up the disc when you buy the item. I know movie rental places used to do that, and some libraries do that too to prevent theft. I guess at least you have the nerve to check. I can only iimagine how many people bought the thing not realizing there wasn't a disc inside.

6: 30 Spotted Anne of Avonlea the second part of Anne of Green Gables that My Sister Tormented me with as a child. I wanted to play my Nintendo She wanted to watch her Anne movies. I saved all my allowance for a whole summer to buy a used 13- CRT from a Super Pawn in Vegas. so I didn't have to deal with it!

Your good will stores are full of awesome stuff, retro electronics and other retro stuff (80s coke olympics) here in the UK our thrift charity shops are full of complete shit, anything retro is picked over and sold on eBay for top bucks or bought by people who work there. Takes the fun out of it

-Mary Kate and Ashley! I've got to cover that sometime! -
With cat litter, I hope.
As for Mark Ecko, it ain't bad, really. Kind of a pastiche of game genres from the early 2000s. a little beat 'em up action here, some spray painting action there, and a dash of exploration.

That PS2 Game you got called The Plan, I'd really like to see a review of that game some time! I remember it for its weird play-stile in that you play three bank heisters stealing crap, but you play all three at the same time!

It makes me sad how rare it is to find something now when you thrift shopping. Back then it was a gold mine but now everyone does it: ( I hardly find anything but I guess it makes it all the better when you do find something lol
