LGR - Hot Wheels Computer ACQUIRED

An off-the-cuff, unedited video to show that I got this thing! Repairs are mostly complete, just waiting on a proper PSU replacement BrightRaven210: Really want to get one just so I can stuff my gaming rig's Micro Atx board and the miniature GTX 1050. Would need to mod that hard drive slot, get rid of the floppy and CD ROM reader, and definitely place my Corsair 800 Watt psu. I'd probably rip out the monitor's internals and place a stripped LED display inside to maintain the whole hot wheels look. Definitely would gut the mouse too and replace insides with parts from an old pair of Razer mice, probably also just take a Razer Blackwidow and replicate the keyboard's paint job.

Someone happened to send a picture of a Hot Wheels computer on a discord server which led me here.
I had NO IDEA that these were a thing until now. It looks like something I would've wanted if I was alive (and being a young kid) when these were made but they weren't very reliable to begin with, and the fact that my family already had a (better) computer at that point

I have the entire Barbie set save for the tower and maybe 2-3 original games. It worked well for us and was our main computer until 2005 when the tower died for us, we just replaced it with a new one but I'm sure we still have most of the pieces.

-LGR I just acquired one of these in mint state for free. I need to replace the power supply and didn-t know which one I need to look for? I would appreciate any help or advice you can give me to find one for this awesome old rig.

I remember the ad's for these things. I really wanted the Barbie computer Even though I had a working PC back in the day thinking back to it now I'm wishing I had my big old PC back. Damn I need a gaming PC.

If I found one of these I'd gut it and put in a mini ITX AM1 motherboard. The Athlon 5350 APU only draws 25 watts of power. It's no workhorse but plenty of power for a young child to play Minecraft on.

Some random kid played with this so much back in his time without ever imagining it would end up in these videos for everyone with a computer and an internet connection to see.

The windows 98 password has nothing to do with security, it is just used for a little bit of customization of your desktop. You can easily get past it with the esc key.
