Gameplay and overview of the fourth game pack for The Sims 4. What are the new items and supernatural powers? And how do pudgy little toddlers fit into all this? Questions, answers, snark! This was made using a review code provided by EA

(lmao posting on an 18 month old video like anybody cares)
I'll admit I was not sold on vampires when I heard it was $20 for a single life state - in fact I thought that was atrocious and evidence EA was breaking bits off of old packs and selling them for slightly lower costs to make more money in the long run. But eventually I did wind up buying this because honestly I love vampires and supernatural gameplay. And yeah, I am still disappointed that they sold this separately and there's still so few extra life states in The Sims 4 without mods. But I'm having a ton of fun with this. So from someone who is into this sort of thing and if there's for some reason people like me who waited forever before buying Sims 4, I'd also say grab it if you're into supernatural-type goings.

Sims 3: Late night: $40 retail
Added cities, groupings, celebrity system, night clubs, vampires, and much more.
Sims 4: Get together: $40 retail
Adds grouping system
City living: $40
Adds cities
Get famous: $40
Adds celebrity system
Vampires game pack: $20
Adds vampires
So basically you-re paying a total of $140 for something that used to only be $40. I don-t care if vampires are slightly better here than in the sims 3. That-s inexcusable and disgusting.

This makes me wonder what they could do in with a game pack for Werewolves. In the Sims 3 they could make packs with other Werewolves, but that didn't really do anyway. But Get Together has that club system. Maybe they make a new pack system?
Maybe you could even progress through the ranks like you can in a career. Like starting as an omega and making your way up to a beta and then an alpha?

I am not that into vampires, but I have to say that this is one of my favorite packs for TS4. The vampires are super well made, the build/buy items are gorgeous, the animations are cool, the aspirations are very good and challenging, and Forgotten Hoolow is pretty nice (I just wish it was bigger. I had a lot of fun playing through this pack, and I wish other packs were as good as this one.

Is anyone like me who just buys the packs and kits for the decore. And side from a few game play options I dont care about the rest.
I mean my sims mostly live in Brindleton Bay or now Henford-on-Bagley. So I mostly farm, garden, and ignore the occult stuff.
I do wish I could turn off the vampires from sneaking on your lot at nights unless you live in Forgotten Hallow.

When they added toddlers I got back into the Sims 4. I can't believe it took them over two years to add toddlers. As for vampires, the game pack is fun and I do not mind that instead of a Supernatural expansion pack they have this stuff divided into game packs. Being a vampire, learning to fly as a bat, and living in cool creepy mansions is always fun.

I do not want vampires, ghosts, and aliens but the graphics and stuff look great.
I am just worried because every time I spend money on the sims I am very disappointed.
Sims 4 looses the -create a world- and -Get to work- does not let us work from home.
It is like every upgrade is a degrade and every map keeps getting smaller.

It-s not a bad game pack, it has some pretty cool stuff, but man are those vampires annoying when they keep coming into my sim-s home RIGHT BEFORE WORK a few times a week causing them the get fired. I figured out that you just ask them to leave when they show up by your door before they choose to break in.

I dont get people who want to play sims and have a boring everyday human. I mean, I wanna have a spellcaster, I wanna explore the powers of a fairy or a witch or a vampire. If I wanted to have just a human, I would just. you know. live xD
I havent had a Human Sim every since Supernatural was out.

I miss when expansion packs just used to add in weird stuff as part of the package -- Nightlife gave us vampires, Pets gave us werewolves, etc. so with every pack you got some zany new supernatural thing to mess around with. It made those expansions feel. more expanding.
