Gameplay and overview of the TENTH stuff pack for The Sims 4. What mid-century items and clothing does it have? How boring did bowling turn out to be? Let's find out! --This review was made using code provided by Maxis

My dad passed away in 2013 and among the several things that remind me of him, bowling is one of them. He was a frequent bowler. I am too much of a wimp to bowl myself as I don't like the idea of my clumsy self dropping heavy balls on my toes. that and I suck at it. But this pack made me smile. I may not use it alot but I love that it exists. Back when SimCity Social was a thing, I wanted a bowling alley solely to honor my dad's memory. Even though the game was shut down, I'm happy I got to make one. Likewise, I was more than happy to buy this pack and even make a bowling alley that I am quite proud of. It's just too bad there's no bowling alley choice when creating lots.

at this stage im starting to feel like the sims 4 is just purely a money grab. I find myself getting bored after about 2 days of gameplay and when that happens I buy another expansion/game/stuff pack in a desperate attempt to get the game to interest me again. I never had to do this with sims 2: ( I'm sure sims 3 was probably great too but I could never play that for more than an hour at a time before it crashed my computer lol

I mean, adding bowling to an expansion pack would have been better. and I am not going to buy this stuff pack for a while. But forming a bowling club and going bowling as a family does sound fun. I appreciate how Sims 4 doesn't really have rabbit holes like past games have, and you can enter almost any building!

3: 03 Bowling was a skill in TS3 as well. It was a SECRET (hidden) skill, but a skill nonetheless. It also had FIVE levels. This another way for TS4 developers to artificially make it seem like they're adding new stuff, when in reality it was always there, just not blatantly obvious.

Wow, Sims 4 packs are so. lacking. Like, I've been looking at The Sims 3 and thinking -hmm, I skipped this but it actually looks like it had a lot of cool stuff in the expansions-, but Sims 4 seems to be so. bare bones in so many ways.

After seeing The Sim Supply talk about the new Pet-s Stuff pack I had a realization that I literally don-t use bowling AT ALL. I use a lot of the decorations and furniture in my houses but as far as my sims going bowling I never do.

Yo, speak for yourself, I loved making a Bowling themed diner when they bundled this with Dine Out and City Living (making it basically the Nightlife expansion for Sims 2 when all put together)

The way those bowling pins stop moving instantly after a bit screams -pre-determined animations- for the pins. EA, will you ever make this random part of Sims use physics or something that'd be. better?
reply

You said in this expansion pack they don't follow the rules of bowling because they reset the pins after each toss. I booted up The Sims 2 to compare and each sim bowls a full frame.
