Thank you for putting this monstrosity together. when I saw the title, I knew that thing was going to be ridiculous! Makes me miss the days of 5. 25 oddities! Maybe stick with P4 with XP 32bit or lower cause you may not have 64 bit drivers or Vista drivers? Maybe also move the AC above the cigarette lighter, for protection, or swap with the Creative live thingy?
While your safety is utmost importance, you could go all in with ram cooler modules and the craziest pci/isa expansion modules you have. Thanks for putting together amazing videos!

you want to build that to get us jelly? I want those gadgets, not that I need them, just want them I once tried to build some sort of deck/rack that supposed to look high tech using arduino and pi, but it doesn't really do anything, it kinda lacks soul. Like it is easy to figure it isn't real. Having something like that makes it believable: D so yeah, I'm jelly: )

I still use that exact same case to this day. Great case except for when it comes to trying to clean the front fan screens. I wish I knew you were looking for one. My previous PC had that ever cool fan thing and it was great for moving a lot of air pretty quietly while accomplishing basically nothing. Please please please put a computer in this thing!

Evening Sir! I know someone else may comment something similar considering how cool this turned out despite the air-conditioner functionality lol. Anyway, XP is definitely the way to go but also as an idea for the future would be an audio-centric monstrosity in a case such as this, particularly in the vein of the midi-mountain! Just a thought.

This is an absolutely awesome early 00's monstrosity! Seeing this up and running with XP and having all the bay drive oddities functioning would be slick. Also, may be cheaply made and pointless parts, but I'd love to have that Antec Veris and the Kingwin Fan Controller to put in my actual PC for the cool factor.

This is awesome, but you can't stop at drive bay. You need the most massive motherboard you can find. Add 3do blaster, voodoo glide, TV, radio, SATA, probably windows 98SE could handle it all. Maybe use compact flash and swap os's on the fly? Multi boot? Next to it get a stack of external drives, CD, floppy, whatever.

I want to do something like this. I have a PC tower with four open 5. 25-inch drive bays. That 12-bay tower is nuts, though. As for swapping something out of yours, I think you've more or less doubled up on the VU meters and could change one out for something else. Can't wait to see it running with a PC.

I love this idea for a project. I would put the them in a more logical order though. Maybe you could build a second tower that has all the media devices in it like different tapes, CD's, floppy drives, etc. This one only has that blue and white thing. Need a ways to interact with the PC.

I'd restack some of the bays. Starting from bottom: A/C exhaust fan, Cigarette accessory, Guy Fieri thing, Coolermaster Guy Fieri thing, Coolermaster tube thing, silver display thing, subwoofer, cassette deck, Creative thing, then the 2-bay big audio dynamite unit at the top.

Ive got the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS front panel unit in my XP machine. beneath a Kingwin IDE hard drive mobile rack, which sits beneath a Icy Dock 3 bay SATA HD cage. Fairly ridiculous but I love it. Oh yeah, forgot the dvd-rw drive is sandwiched in there too somewhere.

Oh man, that NewQ Gold VFD looks exactly like what my older brother's all-in-one sound system had! It's probably pretty close age-wise. I remember it had a minidisc player at the bottom of it and I'd never seen or heard of that format before so it always stuck in my mind.

Idk why but Windows ME (stable) would be a solid match for this Oddware.
Honestly if ME had been more stable for me at the time I would have ran it all the time.
It remember it being a really colourful and nice to look at. I wish they would have supported it longer.

My first PC build used the Antec 1200. Within days of assembly I managed to pour an entire cup of tea into the 'massive 200mm' fan wrecking the motherboard, CPU and GPU. I cried for weeks. If you found tea stains in that case you know I was the tragic previous owner!
