CRAP, that movie is 27 years old. The ONLY problem I had with the movie(being a Muscle Car Enthusiasts )is Mathews character saying Pop Up Pistons. People that say it THAT WAY need to be hit with a 12 Crescent Wrench or a BallPeen Hammer. Its like saying NOS instead of Nitrous Oxide System. Arrrrrrrrrgh.

This guy sucks- no Joey Lauren Adams, and the painted girl forced to kneel down was not Cristin Hinojosa. It was Priscilla Kinser playing Freshman Girl #1, also known as the spit or swallow girl. Ms. Kinser is now married to a friend of mine, and way cooler than Hinojosa.

How does type casting only ever work for the bad guy? The dude he beat up in the movie. You know the guy that just wanted to dance. Played a hitman in Fargo. So he wasn't the typ casted as a pussy

McConaughey didn't even want to be an actor, he was in college when he stumbled into playing that character in Dazed. It's an interesting story especially considering how successful he has been at acting.

This movie has so many characters, but I never want to fast forward through parts like other movies. Really impressive on Linklater's part, and the casting director. So many interesting characters.

Sorry but no Goldberg wasn't that successful. No one knows his name. Matthew Maucanahey and Ben Affleck are the most successful actors in the movie. Followed by Mila Jovovich and Parker Posey.
