Hercules was the best show ever in the '90s. So fun and goofy. Xena however, was just Hercules with boobs, rather boring and a mistake overall.
The only part I never understood was why they didn't go for the _obvious_ spinoff, pairing up the conman (Salmoneus) and the thief (Autolycus) to go around on larcenous adventures. _That_ show would have been insanely successful, both characters infinitely more interesting and likable than Hercules or Xena. It'd still be running today probably.
Alas, some people can't see money on the table in front of them.
. would it have killed you, Mr. Narrator-guy, to at least have watched an episode or two before reading your script if you didn't know how to pronounce a name or two? Or at least YouTube it?

and once again u forgot about the girl who played Discord, the guy who played Hades Meg Foster aka Hera, Charles Keating aka Zeus the girl who played Nemesis Karl Urban aka Cesar and Cupid and Lucy Lawless was a guest star and yes she first played Xena on Hercules but on a three part episode and she left and did the spinoff Xena the warrior princess she was a recurring character on Hercules but she did come back as a guest star in a crossover episode

I cried when Smith died. When I heard my Ares was going to be part of a major hollywood production, my heart leapt with joy that one of my favorite actors was making it to the big league. Then the news of the accident and his death came. I was devastated. Kevin Smith and Andy Hallett are two great actors that I miss so much.

What no mention of Karl Urban, He played Julius Caesar in 8 episodes of Xena and 1 episode of Hercules, and he played Cupid on 2 episodes of Xena and 1 on Hercules.
Now he is known for playing judge Dredd on Dredd and Dr. Leonard H. McCoy(Bones) on the latest Star Trek Movies, among various other things!

I can't believe you forgot the most recurring character in not just Xena and Hercules but also both Young Hercules movies and Young Hercules TV series as well: Discord. Aka Meighan Desmond.
Worst of all you mentioned Joel Tobeck who was just a side character to her and Aries.

I loved Xena, Hercules, and Young Hercules! They were great fun to watch in the mid-90s and early 2000s, and I still look back fondly on them today. I'm glad they have reruns back in syndication so a new generation can enjoy these shows (with Hulu for Young Hercules.

So many characters missed btw. You only showed cast of a few character! What about Hades! The Giant who has the Queen of the Monsters as his wife! I forgot the names because it's been 20 damn years but come on! YOU MISSED XENA SIDEKICK!

You forgot to mention that Salmoneous also appeared in Xena. and you mispronounced Autolycos where the emphasis is supposed to lie on the first o. The whole name, written as it is supposed to sound would be something like Attolickus.
