It's a lot more how I imagine racism plays out most of the time. In this instance you have some white people who don't have many experiences with hanging out with black people and they think if they reference Tiger Woods, Obama, or say a cool slang word, they're demonstrating to Chris that they're not racist. That type of racism if you want to call it that doesn't come from a sinister place per say, but it's probably super common. In this instance you have elite people who are willing to feed on the non elite. Why they pick black people to me isn't really made clear in a convictious way. Because it's the cool in thing, physical capabilities? So perhaps they do target black people for more sinister reasons then what we're led to believe? I also understand that it's a play on pop culture where these things are used and seen as examples of race acceptance.

I love Get Out. One of my favorite movies of the year. But it DID NOT compete against Logan and Kong: Skull Island in its opening weekend. Logan came out a whole weekend later and Logan WAS the NUMBER 1 movie at the box office its opening weekend. Get out opened to 33. 3 million its opening weekend of Feb. 24th-26th. Logan opened the following weekend of March 3rd-5th. Logan opened that weekend to 88. 4 million with Get Out only raking in 28 million that same weekend. Kong: Skull Island opened March 10th-12th to 61 million. So get your facts straight. All three of these movies opened to different weekends but BOTH Logan and Kong had bigger openings than Get Out. Now again, dont get me wrong. Get Out is an excellent movie, certainly far better than Kong Skull Island. Get Out did break tons of other box office records as well and staying in the top 10 domestic box office for a little over half the year, so thats an accomplishment! Just dont report fake news.

I envy people who can take their literal dreams and turn them into art; either painting, film etc. I have the weirdest of dreams out there, and I dont even have to be in a bad space. I even experience layers in dreams like in Inception, which is the creepist thing ever. I can be so sure that I am fianlly awake, even check the time. When I eventually wake up, I might trip off when my gf is still around and I ask her, arent u late for work. The time is so and so, and she laughs it off. Worst is when I dream a beautiful painting that I could never execute. Sometimes I dream a very beautiful plot, but I know it cud never lead anywhere. The worst of all is when I forget a beautiful dream in a fewminutes. The most memorable was when I was abducted into space. It felt so real, and it was layered with both sci-fi and religious/ horror elements

One of my favorite movies of all time. But America is not a racist country. The problem with poverty in the black community is the welfare system making blacks dependent and incentivizing single mother hood with hand outs. Then then number one indicator to inter-generational poverty is single motherhood so having no father in the house. I love America and our government and our constitution but the welfare system has got to stop if we want to see blacks thriving within by their community racial identity politics has to also because gay ha sheen buying the black vote and destroying their community for 50+ years. Democrats were the ones that fought for slavery and fought for Jim Crowe laws now theyre the ones still destroying the black community.

Here white people steal bodies of black people to become them. So it is either about self hatred of white people, or about admiration -- in a twisted way- of black people.
And it have zero originality. It is mix of Being John Malkovich and Stepford wives. But it seams that everything playing on race card is success, regardless of it quality, or even if they are completely not about racism, like in this case, just telling it is about racism is enough to gain success.

What you all think about Black Brits playing Black American parts? and is it really any different from white Brits playing white American parts or Americans playing Brits? because I'm Scottish and most of our historical heroes have been played by other nationalities. Mel Gibson as William Wallace, Johnny Depp as J. M Barrie. And more recently Chris Pine as Robert The Bruce and Saoirse Ronan as Mary Queen of Scots. But I don't mind as long as its a good performance.

The milk thing was due to a report of African American students saying that milk was a show of white supremacy thus you had guys making fun of the column on the live stream. Racism survives now almost purely on the left. People fight over victimhood status even when they are millionaires. Like to say Jordan peele is biracial and his white mother raised him but you can't make money on white privilege can you?

good movie an docncept and even easter egg's / foreshadowing. one of the best honestly. however i still dont believe in the narrative, sure rascism isn't what it used to be and there are those who still believe in lynching. but everyone condemns those people. the narrative here is that everyday people, are rascist's because some people are self conscious about being in a room with white people.

Nothing about this movie made me tempted to go see it. Now that I see this movie is about telling people they are racist I'm glad I never saw it. I'm sick of hearing people scream racism everywhere. Now they are saying even if you don't look racist or act racist you still are. This movie should've flopped. Only idiots would pay to see it.

This is such a well written and directed movie. Horror can be a predicable genre; this was refreshingly original.
Milk in movies is used to show youth or innocence. In the movie it was used to show the woman's indifference to her victims and to show, maybe, it was something she was raised to do our had been doing for some time.
