Henry Cavill Reveals The Worst Part Of Playing The Witcher Jacqueline: Jockeys endure this on a regular basis. Anything to make weight. Water deprivation, sweating it off in a steam room. they can't afford the excess water weight. And they have to live with that from day to day, week to week, month to month. while being able to control over a thousand pounds of fast-moving horseflesh. I feel for Cavill, working that hard and having to go through that sort of deprivation for the sake of appearing shirtless in a movie or a series, sucks. but he doesn't have to do it on a regular basis

He looks good, yes but I think it is damaging to everyone to have him dehydrate himself just so he can play a role. It is not good for his health and if others copy him it is also bad for them. Again, he looks great and this is not about him, it is about an industry that is shaping perfect humans which could never exist.

I really kinda wish the dehydration = better muscle definition = looks hotter schtick goes away. If they really need it that badly, they can use makeup, they make waterproof shit nowadays. If being inhumanly ripped means being in a state of misery, I don't want to see it.

Cavil isn't from England, he's from the Island of Jersey. It's part of the British Isles, but Britain doesn't = England. Britain is the name of the large island which houses the countries of England, Scotland, and Wales - it's not a country itself.

He had his agents check for updates every day before the series was given a green light for production. He wanted the role so bad he was willing to suffer. Not like he didn't know the potential physical demands after Superman.

Poor Henry: ( I dont see why they needed to make him so buff. Geralt in the game isnt that buff. I mean, Im not complaining, he looks fantastic; but being dehydrated and having to film must be so miserable.

Him being the most miserable person on earth on the 4th day, probably works well with his acting for the character. he always has a I'm tired of this shit aura, to him, that is very attractive to me lol for some reason

His body looks fantastic without dehydrating. Just film the guy with his natural definition, seriously no one would mind. The show is fantastic regardless of Henry being super cut.

And they say WOMENS beauty standards are unobtainable! Poor men like Cavill have to trick their bodies and do dangerous diets just to adhere to the beauty standards we put on men!

Hugh Jackman supposedly went through the same de-hydration procees for a scene in Logan. Doing this without medical supervision can be really dangerous.
