I know I'm late, but Groot's arm does not have the cells needed to cause fragmentation, which is a process in which for example, a starfish can regenerate it arm if it loses it, and if the arm has the cells required, the arm can grow into a completely new starfish. This is not the case with Groot's arm, so the arm cannot regenerate into Groot.

The cartoon show of the same name deem groot is the king of his species, so if we go by the movie stormbreaker is a kings weapon and groot being the last king of his species is how if you want to point is how he can pick up storm breaker, but also stormbreaker in the cartoon and comics was built for beta ray bill, i am just saying

And from what I understand it's only a living being and it's worth on whether or not it could lift Thor's hammer
But vision is a robot, therefore vision doesn't have to be worthy to lift Thor's hammer because he is a robot

Orrrrt maybe it just showed Groot is vastly more powerful than he appears or acts out. When before has his limits been shown to be reached? The end of the first GotG movie showed just how spectacular he is in power, he might be able to absorb and handle great power and divert it to bid his will.

I can picture it now. Thor getting beat up by the next villain and breaks Stormbreaker. Just when the villain is about to deliver the final blow to Thor, the energy in Stormbreaker transfers over to the handle and gives birth to Asgardian of the Galaxy Groot to save Thor.

Ummm this makes no sense because Odin dint put a spell on stormbreaker so this should not be a video because anybody could lift stormbreaker also you just have to be strong to lift stormbreaker but you just have have to be worthy to lift moljnier

It's an axe and its not enchanted. And Groot is nowhere near as physically strong as Thor, lmao. Dave Bautista and I can both lift a textbook, that doesn't mean I'm as strong as Bautista. Groot was in pain because the axe was hot.
