Alright idk how introduced this. First thing I like about this video is that they didn't say their own opinion, what I mean by that is that they didn't just say it was a bad movie and that you should watch it but instead just tolled us the reason didn't do very well something that I came for. So just saying this isn't a hate comment.
Now I am here to tell my opinion on this movie and book series. I FCKING LOVED IT! Oh yes I am that person that loved the movie. Honestly I get it, it might not Marvel quality movie but I find the storyline amazing! Maybe it's the directors fault, maybe it's not most probably is with how badly she was able to make into a film. But at least she made it! Also the fact its a bit late to the film adaption movies, well the answer to that is that it's not a very old book.
I will forever be sad that they won't make a sequel because the book amazing it capture you! The description is fantastic, the villians are put together so careful, everything is perfect! Whenever I start reading it I just can't stop!
I know my English is bad I am Russian.

Movies like this set in a dystopian society that shows children trying to fight against the system which resonates a lot with today's world is a much more interesting story to watch than any of the marvel and dc superhero movies that have no substance. but then again ppl would much rather spend so much money watching a movie about some nerd that got bit by a spider saving the world so I don't really base my opinion about how good a movie is on box office numbers.
Only reason I'm annoyed this movie bombed is because it means the chances of getting a sequel made is slim to none. also, the crew who worked hard on it were paid dust for their effort so that's sad too. Welp

Because of the trailer I decided to read the book and ended up buying the whole series but hated the movie. Everything in the movie was wrong. They even blatantly changed the powers of one of the kids. I couldnt sit through the movie peacefully without going wrong, wrong, no thats completely wrong. Did they even try going by the book? Thats not even close. I hated it so much the ending I cried for in the book made me angry in the movie. Not because it was wrong but because its the only thing they barely got right. And after watching the crap movie I now have to reread the book so I can forget all the incorrect information from the movie and continue with the series again.

If I remember correctly, Orange is NOT the most powerful/dangerous. On the pyramid, from bottom to top, it's green, blue, yellow, orange, red. The ones with fire abilities are the most powerful and most dangerous because not only did they gain powers, but their minds basically went to mush. They don't have control anymore, so that makes them unpredictable. In the movie, however, the pyramid showed orange at the top, which isn't accurate. This is the one issue I had with the movie. As someone who read the books first, I loved the movie because it didn't change the timeline or skip anything. It mainly just condensed time frames and I really liked seeing that.

Main teenage actress falls in love with the white teenage leader type while the smart black guy is the gay friend whose not gay and the asian girl is basically like the earthbender from the airbender. How about you make the smart guy the guy who the main teenage actress falls for. How about you make the leader type white guy the gay friend whose not gay huh. Too many movies do this disney type movies, frankly its getting old

In my opinion the movie did not seem like it had very much to it, I can almost remember everything that happened in it. The movie did not feel cheap but it didn't feel expensive. The actors. The young ones were actually very good. Amandla is very gorgeous and is a perfect fit for her character. I loved Zu very much she's so cute. I feel like Liam could've been plahed by someone else for say Dylan O'Brien? But hey I'm not complaining. This movie was by far one of the best movies ive seen in a long time I give it a 9/10 because I feel like they could've made it a little more complex but IMO it was a very good movie.

I didn't watch this movie, but from the clips I can see it's a good movie. Still, what I have to say is that what didn't attract me more to see it, was the weak marketing (it wasn't promoted enough and in the right way) and it also gave me an image that there is a great focus on the romance and not quite developed world building. I think that it would've been way more interesting to focus on the girl's character developement and story in that world. Don't get me wrong, I love romance, but this is the first movie for which I would prefer that it didn't focus on that.

I actually enjoyed the movie and my friend (who hates when they change stuff from the book) actually enjoyed it aswell. A lot of people give it hate because Chubs was green, Zu had her hair long when its supposed to be short, and Clancy had black hair and most of all Ruby was white in the book. I personally think it was nice to see Chubs green because it fits his personality. Didn't see why it failed and hopefully they make a second one. I bought the book collection because I loved the movie. Just my opinion though.

I loved it! I would honestly watch any superpower movie but this is one of my many favourites. The movie gave me emotion (at times i laughed, at the end i cried) i will admit i wish there was more action to it and that it was a tv show instead of movie. I have watched this movie 3 times this week. It does not matter about what rubbish them critics are say, they have no taste. I would love a sequel to learn more about the characters, and for more story and action. Don't forget about the power development! =)
