the antagonist was ridiculous, valak's a demon but all it can do was to choke people, i was really waiting for something like ripping out the heart, crushing people's body or disassembling the limbs. I think that is what a true DEMON can do. Not just choking, strangling and holding people up. It is a straight up rip-off of the series. Could have been better if James Wan was the director. This movie had the potential and had the most creative type of a horror villain

Great movies! But, gonna probe! So, in The Nun, Valak gets a face full of Christs blood, and is still able to walk the Earth. However, just saying his name sends him back to Hell, in Conjuring 2? Seems the blood of Christ woulda destroyed the Hellion? Also. when the 3 discover that vile with Christs blood before going to battle with a demon. Would have made sense to take communion with The actual blood of Christ, right before battling Satanic forces?

This film got a lot of hate from Jeremy Jahns and even Chris Stuckmann; I agree there were too many jump scares, but I enjoyed it. I liked the atmosphere, particularly I liked the sound of the monks praying, I low rumble reverberated around the cinema. Made the hairs on my arms and necks stand on end. I liked other Conjuring Universe tie-ins. I like most things about The Conjuring Universe, except for Annabelle, I didn't rate that.

I saw The Nun, and to be fair the story itself isnt that strong. I think they could have done more with the character, and I wont give away its origins but honestly it would have been better not explaining it in the story. The atmosphere, however, was pretty damn great. Overall I did enjoy the movie, however as I said, it could have definitely been better but it is what it is.

Also, there is an error in the movie. At the end of the movie, where it connects back to the first Conjuring, in the lecture of Maurice/Frenchie's possession, it says 20 years later, THE NUN takes place in 1952. This means, 1952+20 is 1972, where, in fact, THE CONJURING takes place in 1971, one year before. Strange, right?

You just cant help to have the feeling that a few more movies will be produced in this series of Horror movies. Makes you wonder if the Conjuring was made with the idea of making a movie that started this whole story, much later.
Much like how StarWars started with Part 4, back in the 70's

I think it's underrated, but I haven't seen any other Conjuring movies. What I noticed was some great references to Italian Horror classics, especially Lucio Fulci's CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD, which begins with a priest committing suicide, and features a rescue from a premature grave.

The only thing this movie gave me, wash a felling of I wasted my money on seeing it. This was the worst film of 2018.
Bad script, bad actors, not scary, bad humor, why did they try to make the movie funny? It was so boring. Don't waste your time on this crappy movie.

2 conjuring movies, 2 annabelle movies, the nun, there will be nun 2, an annabelle 3, conjuring 3. Then crooked man and that will be good in the box office so that will get a sequel. Holy shit so many movies based on this one story!
