Anhilation was absolutely incredible. The books were beautifully written and the movie was well acted and crazy enough to be disturbing. but not.
The Endless was weird as frick and very hard to understand. But I liked it. The visuals are very cool.
Hellraiser was? I mean it wasnt that good.
Lowlife wasn't really a horror movie. At least I didnt think so. It was more an action movie.
Marrowbone was disturbing. I loved it. It was awesome.
Downrange was okay I guess. I dont like horror that can actually happen and it gave me a few nightmares.
Haunted asylum was terrifying. I thought it was just gonna be every other found footage movie but it wasnt.
Veronica was eh. The ending kinda sucked.

Annihilation is a horror movie, people (sci-fi, Lovecraftian horror to be more precise. If you don't think slowly turning into a tree, your insides moving while you're still alive, a monster that imitates humans screaming, and a foreign entity of energy doppelganging and trying to keep you captive horror, then you need to recheck yourself. Sure, it was a beautiful movie, but it had enough creepy moments to make it a horror movie.

If you don't think slowly turning into a tree, your insides moving while you're still alive, a monster that imitates humans screaming, and a foreign entity of energy doppelganging and trying to keep you captive horror, then you need to recheck yourself. Lowlife is not horror, also It came out in 2017.
Marrowbone came out in 2017.
Veronica came out in 2017.
Downrange came out in 2017.

I really wanted to like Annilation but it turned out to be basically boring. One jump scare and slight occasional suspense. Pretty boring the whole way thru. Check out the little girl that lived down the lane with a young Jodi foster as a child who pretends her parent is still in the home with dire consequences

Looper, I think you guys have to watch over some of these movies, because some of these movies here is not horror, some of them is sci-fi based and drama based and there was only three horror movies one foreign horror and the next two was low budget poor quality horror movies.

I appreciate the honesty on Veronica, I'd really like to know where the rumour that it was the scariest movie of all time came from. It honestly ruined what could have been a pretty good movie for me because I was already expecting an amazing one.

Started with Annihilation? Movie was lukewarm, as a sci-fi and so-called horror. Why The Void wasn't there. I have no idea. Movie is original, eerie, and scary as shit. And I don't jump at just anything. I'm hardcore horror movie. THE VOID. Best in years.

I can't give Annihilation my thumbs up for a few reasons, and at the top of that list is the horrible soundtrack. Come on, Universal. that ambient crap is for indi-losers. Be the big studio that you are and bring back actual music.

Annihilation and Veronica are 2 of the most boring and over-hyped movies I have ever seen. None of the other movies look even remotely interesting and I learned my lesson about the Hellraiser franchise a long time ago.
