Actually that does make sense. Before I seemed help, I wanted to maim myself as well. Its attention and manic episodes that make us do this. We want help but cant usually ask. When I finally heard a voice out loud, I seemed help because it was telling me to do something that wasnt my nature. Im lucky but others are not. Thank looper for showing this dark side and hopefully people will seek the help they need!

He cut his arm off during a particularly bad bipolar episode (according to him) and then later said it happened as a result of him being a war veteran, which got him roles.
Seriously Looper, you should change it. A lot of people aren't going to do further reading or watch the video, and will just take the name as gospel. This is wrong, factually and morally.

I think he's more bad ass cutting his hand off himself as opposed to losing it in the military. And I hate the term stolen valor, what, is some poor vet getting less sympathy because he got some too? Hell no! There's enough of that shit going around for everyone, kudos for having big balls buddy, don't be ashamed.

im torn, im a veteran(us army, and while this should be insulting to us veterans, i have to admire his willingness for success, i mean, he cut off his hand with a a fricking saw, that cant be an easy thing to push thru. But mental illness is def real, so please listen to the message at the end of the video

I wonder if someone found out hes been lying and gave him the option to snitch on himself, or theyd do it for him. Theres ppl who get caught lying about it all the time who arent in movies or tv series, so it wouldnt be a shock if someone looked into it, and figured out he was full of sh&t.

Be honest now, if you where asked why you are missing a hand while applying for a job, would you really admit that you cut it off during a psychosis?

Having went thru the agony of having a finger cut off I can't imagine cutting my whole hand off with a skill saw, on purpose, that's dedication because ya know the saw snagged on tendons & bone chips all gummed up in the saw.
