I loved her until new girl. Cant stand that Im-so-cute-and-whiny-so Im allowed to selfishly ruin your life, I pout how can you hate me, listen to my childish whine, youre so mean- gross attitude. I wish I never watched because before that, I thought she was so funny. No one wants to see an adult act like a baby! Blame the writing I guess but she took the part. Now its all I can remember when I see her, and wouldnt be surprised to hear she actually wrote her part.

She's earned millions from The New Girl. It'll be in reruns for decades. She's endorsed Pantene and is a shrewd money saver, as was revealed when she divorced her first husband. Her second husband is a film producer with his own money, and she co-founded a website that in 2015 got bought by Time for 30 million.
She has screw you money. She never has to be manic or pixie-like again.

Its really hard, and every generation has it but all actors eventually leave the fame and live there lives, and we the veiwer love them so much we hate to see them go but shes been doing this about 20 years thats a long spot light really, she's probably more than set on money, acting is work when your getting paid that much why not retire early.

I think some Zooey fans are taking this video too personally. Look at her IMDB. The fact that the little work she has done (outside New Girl) is consistently small roles/flops implies she wants to work but can't land great roles. Plus I think N. G. took up a lot of her time and pays well so she isn't too motivated to audition.

The first time I'd heard of and seen Zooey Deschanel was in the miniseries Tin Man (a different telling of The Wizard of Oz. What a beauty! I have only sporadically seen some of her other work, and loved it when she appeared alongside sister Emily Deschanel in an episode or two of the series Bones, in which Emily was the series lead.

WRONG wrong wrong. I have met both Zooey and her husband Death Cab For Cutie Dave Depper. He is very controlling and got jealous when her and I spoke away from him at a party. They have truck loads of money and he just forces her stay at home as they try to build a family.

It's because she got lazy and didn't try to break out of her sweet, cute, quirky young woman persona. She's getting older and there are other young women who can take those roles. I've also heard she's unpleasant in real life: chilly, condescending and zoned out

I believe her to be physically beautiful, but ageism for women in Hollywood is very difficult to overcome. I suspect that will play a part of seeing her perform in fewer roles, that and having small children/young family to balance out with work as well.
